Why Good Anime is hard to make - General

I don't know why everyone considers Special A to be so great, for me at most it's mediocre but a bunch of the characters aren't even fully explored and the show gets obnoxious to think about after a while I'll bet it counts as "slice of life" too

My problem is Anime is two things. 1. I cannot find any Anime that can appeal to my interests, Only recent one I can think of was Hellsing OVA, that shit was the bomb! 2. Honestly I feel like whenever I watch Anime, I'm worried someone will come into my room and call me a weeaboo, or in general I feel like I'm some growing weeb from watching some anime. I do have an interest in some series but god help me if I can find some english dub of Space Dandy. I do feel like pre 2000s anime had some more quality and taste to them rather than panty shots and molestation, and all the fucking rape :v:. That's another gripe, so much rape or rape attempts (AS FAR AS I CAN TELL THIS ISN'T A BLANKET STATEMENT).

To be honest I'm hoping that the animation quality of OPM will stay consistently good.

Kirito is probably one of the most explicit "angsty but cool dream self-insert protagonist" cases I've seen, and pretty much every girl that isn't explicitly going for someone else creams their panties over him eventually until the last arc the anime covered (Mother's Rosario).

Production quality is top notch so long as you don't go past the first main arc of the series and it's engaging enough. After that arc it just becomes awful in terms of production quality and just storywise it's a wreck.

It is so much fun, and is so energetic that it's the only movie I can think of watching where I felt physically exhausted after it was over. The universe is so crazy and alien designs so out there. I love the character design and visual style. Oh yeah, and it has a great soundtrack and everybody has awesome names. It's a great looking and sounding movie and it's definitely worth checking out. And no Redline post is complete without mentioning 7 years, hand drawn.
