because every band in the same genre sounds the same right
Why am I not surprised that a thread about music has become an argument about subjective things in the first page?

Talvisota is one of my favorite Sabaton songs, really really great band.
I've gotten so sick of metal with growling/screaming. every new metal band does it. every.one. also this song actually taught me something, kinda.
Hahaha. That's like criticizing a band for using guitars. Sometimes I forget that this forum is largely populated by 14 year olds, my apologies.
Jesus, this is fucking terrible. I'll stick to this if I get an urge for history oriented metal And please, don't bombard me with boxes just because I don't like cheesy power metal.
That's terrible, bro. The vocalist sounds like a bitch, unlike say, Insomnium's, who actually has emotions behind his vocals.

I made this video for Aces in Exile like 2 years ago.
Hahaha. That's like criticizing a band for using guitars. I really really want to see some more creativity with metal now. bands like alestorm and sabaton are showing what thinking out of the box (somewhat) can do. Make an AWESOME as fuck genre.
Sabaton metal is best metal. It's cheesy, but at the same time awesome.
Jesus, this is fucking terrible. It's like a teenager trying to sound powerful, demonic and angsty, but failing at it.
Hail of Bullets just makes me laugh. Seriously, if you're gonna growl (or whatever the fuck that shit he's doing is supposed to be called), do it right.
i will never forget the date of D-Day because of this song :v:
Besides being cheesy it was alright. Music video was entertaining though.

Still doesn't beat this when it comes to syncing up,
This is, in my opinion, my favourite song by Sabaton. It is about a Finnish sniper in WW2 called Simo Häyhä or "White Death" as the Red Army called him. To this day he holds the record for the highest number of confirmed sniper kills in any war. 505.
This is all well and good but what the world needs a hero to step forth and make a top 40 mainstream charts hit about WW2. All the party goers will be like "Ohhhh, storming the beaches of my heart. I can totally relate to that" and then we'd all be like "Its D-Day" and they'd be all like "Whatever nerd" and then we'd know we won deep inside.

It took me like two minutes to realize he was singing in english, still nice though.
