Did I see killstreaks There was a helicopter at the end
It's technically a VTOL Also no, it's not killstreaks, if anything it should be sort of like a vehicle hidden somewhere or king of the hill style. If so it would defenetely make the gameplay look better because i don't like instant action, unless it's the one with vehicles like in crysis wars.
Yeah, looked wait too much staged or the other team don't know how to aim. It seemed decent, nothing wrong with it, though it didn't seem people were able to buy vehicles. Or they were only gamemode specific in the first game?
The powers and shit look like they'd be fun in a propper game. But everyone either stood still to get shot by the main guy, or shot around him. I don't think the guy playing took a single bullet.
I know wtf was that shit. You don't have to make someone win for multiplayer to look good.
Or they were only gamemode specific in the first game?
Yes they were. You couldn't buy vehicles in DM or TDM in crysis 1 either.
God I hate scripted multiplayer reveals. It never, ever looks good. In fact it reminds me of the MW2 Flag runner trailer thing.

This game better not be a port from console.
looks mediocre the only reason I could possibly think of to explain why they're so shitty is they're pc gamers playing with controllers
All the disappointed people. I still think It looks cool, I guess. Looks like everyone is disappointed at this game...
Its because facepunch has ridiculously high standards on everything, ranging from women to video games. With that said it looked kind of like just another team deathmatch but with powers. Hopefully we'll get a better video later that'll showcase more unique stuff.
that was definitely the 360 version they were playing, at least things like "Hold (back button) to do this" and "click (left stick) to do this" would lead me to believe so.
This game better have Powerstruggle.
This. What I wish is coop, though I guess it's an empty wish
I think there's already a few multiplayer remixes for co-op in crysis, maybe it will go legit.

Unless they were really lazy and do not have support for xbox controller, which I doubt.
Does anyone have any PC footage..? All I ever see is Xbox gameplay...
Looks like it may have potential. Although personally I'll probably just rent it once for the 360 and see how it is. I might buy it for pc if it goes on sale on steam or something. However I wish they actually PLAYED the game, it looks either very scripted, or the people playing just really suck.
This game better not be a port from console.
are you kidding me what kind of question [editline]05:32PM[/editline]
I think that would show on pc too if you plug in xbox controller. I wonder if I can max it on my 9400gt :smug:
Better have powerstruggle.
I wonder if I can max it on my 9400gt :smug:
I can max Crysis 1 on my 9600. (With the help of CCC)
Looks worse than Crysis 1. I guess thats because they stopped making everything realtime and put it all as prerendered, probably why the lighting looks like ass lighting from a console.
Either this is staged or they're terrible at aiming. (See: 1:20) They should have done it with a mouse/keyboard.
The environment looks sweet.
I think it looked pretty good And I don't get where all the nostalgia for Crysis 1's/Crysis Wars multiplayer is coming from, I mean it had its moments but it was pretty terrible. Hardly anyone plays it anymore

Still the new Crysis looks alright and all but its only got a few pros going for it over the original and more cons.
meh

Hardly anyone plays it anymore
That's because of the horrible cheat protection (Punkbuster I think) and because Crytek gave up on Crysis 1 after a few months and decided to make a quick buck with Crysis Warhead. Powerstruggle was innovative and new and it was kinda fun but the insane armor and health always ruined it for me, and I was playing since the beta.
They could've at least told the people playing to look like they're having fun.
Every gamer knows even if you don't smile and laugh while playing games, you are having fun.
Never seen anything so staged in all my life. Why can't they just play?
Actualy it reminds me of one of the trailers for bad company 2, it looked very planed out, but it worked out much better for them.
Looks worse than Crysis 1. I guess thats because they stopped making everything realtime and put it all as prerendered, probably why the lighting looks like ass lighting from a console.
Your wrong about a few points. 1. They didn't stop making everything realtime. One of cryteks goals is to improve development times by completely removing all preprocessing. No light maps or light volumes, no baked global illumination. All the lighting is completely realtime, and they do a very good job at it. 2. If everything was all precomputed, it would look much better because they wouldn't have the pressure of computing everything in the game in under 33 milliseconds. Look at Rage for example. That is what a game looks like when things are precomputed. I'll agree though. The engine is remarkable, but the actual game looks really boring.
