I mean, if all the atheists you hate are posting in r/atheism, they aren't posting everywhere else about shit you hate. However, you can fix this by signing up for an account, removing the defaults from your feed, and adding subreddits that you're actually interested in. Reddit has tens of millions of people on the site; there's plenty of good to be found. Hell, just take a look at any of the SFW'porn' subreddits (/r/earthporn is a great one and it's not what you think it is), or /r/science, or /r/technology. Don't judge the majority of reddit based on the shittiness of /r/gaming, /r/f7u12, or /r/atheism. It would be like if people judged Facepunch based off "Fast Threads"

Oh no you're right it's best that they do their thing in there. I'd never go in there and tell them off because that's their own place and they have every right to do what makes them happy there. Last night, after my long discussion with my friends about existence, space, and science, my friend recommended I go check out r/atheism and this helped remind me to do so. Holy fuck I thought r/atheism was going to be interesting and have good content on it. This is just people acting like they have hard lives filled with discrimination just because they're atheists and posting stuff that is barely relevant to atheism at all. I think I need a talk with my friends about the problems with this shitty web page.
Can't stand the majority of Reddit, however I still go on it because I forgot what I did on the internet before it, but to be honest, a lot of Facepunch isn't better either.
However, /r/atheism is by far the worst subreddit I have ever been on, and I've been on /r/spacedicks. It's full of self entitled twatends who think that they are more intelligent than everybody else.
Ironically, you could argue that agnostics are the intelligent ones. There isn't sufficient evidence to prove that there is or is not a God, and because of that they refuse to make a judgement and choose to sit on the fence instead.

Pretty sure that whole thing was them responding to people who said they only ever bitched about Christianity. They usually talk about how shitty Jesus is because that's the religion most westerners (particularly Americans) are familiar with, and they're like "you're right, we totally aren't being fair. We should give somebody else shit, too."
Though r/atheism still has an inappropriate hardon for Buddhism, seemingly not realizing that Tibet was a theocratic shithole with a penchant for torture when it was its own state.
