That was part of the original pitch, however Sony wants to aggressively advertise apps, which I believe Spotify and a couple others signed on immediately. Wreck-It Ralph at least put the characters they borrowed from video game companies in the background with a couple of lines, and with Candy Crush being front and center I don't expect other apps to be subtle.
