That looks like the most capable dancing robot ever created
we're alarmingly close to metal-gear levels of bipedal movement now seriously, just stick some blades onto the arms of this bot and you have a horrific death machine on your heads

I could see this in some retro-futuristic 50's Diner, serving Milkshakes. I mean, before violently crushing your skull in the first act of the inevitable robot uprising.
Send it to ISIS territory, see what they do
Stick on a doppler radar to detect in coming RPGs and it can duck and weave RPGs on while driving closer to hit them with its sword.
I like how the camera guy creamed his pants when it jumped
I like how the camera guy creamed his pants when it jumped
The camera guy is Steve Jurvetson, by the way. Billionaire venture capitalist. SpaceX/Tesla early VC. He's a great guy.
Honestly it made my shoulders feel tense, because it looked like it was holding its arms back behind its giant head the entire time.
Even robots know that they gotta go fast..
I can imagine these things replacing binmen or something
citizen you have failed to separate all recyclable materials from your residential waste you have 10 seconds to comply
we're alarmingly close to metal-gear levels of bipedal movement now seriously, just stick some blades onto the arms of this bot and you have a horrific death machine on your heads
[t]http://static.gosunoob.com/img/1/2015/09/mgs5-where-to-find-d-walker-1024x576.jpg[/t] It gives me massive D-Walker vibes, especially the way it moves at highspeed.
I imagine one of the "nightmarish" factors of this bad boy is the orientating of its arms, bent forward like the claws of a praying mantis. Or a Hydralisk, in a way.
Notice how not a single motherfucker dared to mess with this guy. Humans are learning to know their place.
What happened to Hans and his hockey stick?.. :( I was gonna laugh at this thing for having wheels and probably not being able to go through messy terrain, until I saw it jump that obstacle... [editline]3rd February 2017[/editline]
[t]http://static.gosunoob.com/img/1/2015/09/mgs5-where-to-find-d-walker-1024x576.jpg[/t] It gives me massive D-Walker vibes, especially the way it moves at highspeed.
But can it also go BEEPBOOPBEEPBOOP right before running someone over?
Here's another video of the same bit, with some more extra stuff added on and better quality.
Holy shit when that robot dog picked up the can on the table. So smooth, so fast and gentle. Remember when Toyota Asimo was a big deal? We've really gone so far in such a short time.
citizen you have failed to separate all recyclable materials from your residential waste you have 10 seconds to comply
"Pick up that can."
