Representative Duke Cunningham later plead guilty to accepting $2.4 million in bribes and under-reporting his taxable income. He was released after eight years in June 2015.
How do profligates like him get elected?
And to add on:
In September 1996 Cunningham criticized President Clinton for appointing judges who were "soft on crime". "We must get tough on drug dealers," he said, adding that "those who peddle destruction on our children must pay dearly". He favored stiff drug penalties and voted for the death penalty for major drug dealers.
Four months later, his son Todd was arrested for helping to transport 400 pounds (180 kg) of marijuana from Texas to Indiana. Todd Cunningham pleaded guilty to possession and conspiracy to sell marijuana. At his son's sentencing hearing, Cunningham fought back tears as he begged the judge for leniency

Amazing how nobody even gasped at the word 'homo'. Then again, I wonder when the last time someone in Congress said 'tranny' was without anyone batting an eyelid?
It was the mid-90's. Back then, it really wasn't all that unusual to be demeaning toward homosexuals. It wasn't for a few more years that gay bashing became truly "frowned upon".
But it is really weird to hear 20 years later when gays can freely serve and marry.

Republicans are the fucking masters of hypocrisy. Watch as they try to ban abortions but have their daughters get secret abortions after unexpected pregnancies. They try to ban drugs but they have a hidden coke addiction. They try to ban immigration despite the fact that many of them (including Trump) are like 3rd-4th generation immigrants.
Republicans are so detached from reality it surprises me whenever I hear about people publicly supporting them. Like how dense do you have to be to support these fuckwits?
If Bernie gets elected president I might actually consider moving there.
Maybe.
If trump gets elected president I'll absolutely consider moving wherever you are

because trump isnt efraid to say wat needs to be said! he said that rich ppl pay too little in taxes HES OBVIOUSLY FOR THE LOWER CLASS
People really don't look any further than what the media shits into their mouth. They don't even take into fucking account who these people are. Bernie Sanders, a senator from Vermont, vs Donald Trump, a billionaire. Who do you think is going to benefit more from helping the rich vs helping the lower class? Bernie would profit very little. Trump has much to profit on
After he was released from prison:
Cunningham told a federal judge that he planned to live in Arkansas and that he would live on $1,700 a month. In his letter, Cunningham pleaded for a gun permit, saying he longed to hunt in Arkansas. The judge denied the request as being beyond the scope of his authority, citing the law that limits gun permits for convicted criminals – a law that Cunningham voted for while in Congress.

Tactical voting makes sense when you have at least 2 good options.
Hilary is horrible and the Republicans are pretty insane right now.
The series covers that:

He can't.
He will lose support come the general election.

Trump literally can't win the candidacy. It won't happen.
If he does, there are no more limits on intelligence and reason when it comes to running in an election.
And even if Sanders DOESN'T make it, he would still have to face off against Hillary which is pretty much a guaranteed loss on his end.
Hillary v Trump would also make for the most ridiculous and idiotic race ever. I would refuse to vote let alone follow who is winning.
I'm interested in seeing how a Sanders v Trump race would go. I'd think Sanders would have a better chance if he's up against Trump.
Trumps advantage is that his supporters don't care about logical or reasonable arguments.
