dear god. it looks like shit.
The fact they put in assets and can actually run, even given the fact that Unity is designed for this, is more than I or most people I know could do at age 12
There are literally step by step video tutorials you could follow. Trust me you could do it.
Limbo of the Lost 2: Electric Boogaloo
Don't forget this revolutionary new feature

This feature will get you jail time in Russia for hooliganism.

They dragged in a few prefabs and probably copy pasted some code from tutorials.
Can't believe they are selling this 'game' in their school
I don't know what unity is, but I don't think I could have done this as a 12 year old. So I think it's mildy impressive.
Unity is a lightweight game engine.
Google kerbal space program, it's a game that pushes the engine to it's limits
eh it's pretty cool how the menu music's greensleeves, I like that piece of music
Got to get that "Go away I'm trying to worship" as a text message sound or something :v:
Reminds me of this

I can't wait for Valve to Greenlight this.

Such a gold mine.
To be honest Unity is a pretty retard proof Engine where you can easily shit out ridiculous game.

I would be impressed of these 12 years old depending on the time it actually took to make their game.
Wow! You can exit buildings? I hate it when games allow you to enter building but not exit them. Can't wait to see more about this awesome game, might donate some money when my paycheck comes in!
omg those water effects are amazing im gonna donate when my mom gives me more allowance
"Quit Game ends the executable file" No fucking shit, really? Wow, I'm fucking amazed.
To be fair, programming code comments sometimes state the obvious, even though it's extremely obvious.
quit() # quit the program

Funny you should say that.
SqlCeDataAdapter dsDataAdapter = new SqlCeDataAdapter("SELECT * FROM Users", conn); //gonna steal it all
SqlCeDataAdapter nsDataAdapter = new SqlCeDataAdapter("SELECT * FROM Nodes", conn);
dsDataAdapter.Fill(UserTable); //throw it in a table
nsDataAdapter.Fill(NodeTable);
Console.WriteLine("Data Updated"); // or is it?
conn.Close(); //we're done here
dsDataAdapter.Dispose(); //thank you for you noble service, now get out
nsDataAdapter.Dispose();
Just an excerpt of my coding comment style. If I have to comment every line it gets worse. (Stuff like "I bet you can't guess what this does." Once I told a story via comments, just taking up different lines to fulfil the requirement of commenting every line for an assignment. Lucky my teacher thought it was funny so I didn't fail.)
I doubt any of us would've done better when we were twelve.

Unity wasn't around when I was twelve.
I only had access to Klik & Play
I use Unity all the time and something like this does require quite a bit of coding.
This is like something I made for my Game Design course.
Except I wasn't allowed to use anything other than what I was given to work with in MMF2.

From first person perspective it looks like you play as a sloth hooked up with IV bags of adrenaline.
Are children at their school ACTAULLY buying this?
I mean like...
Also, I kind of dislike that they point out literally everything and don't even try to be a bit less praising since even they must know that this sucks...
Cool that you made this at 12 years old but it does not make it less shit.
Jesus christ guys how insecure do you have to be to mock the efforts of twelve year olds?
the pointing out of literally everything is probably because they coded these functions themselves and are really proud of them

At the age of twelve I wrote a bit of code in BASIC on my commodore64 that would allow you to put swearwords in an adlib story.
It really feels like I'm in 1616.
So I see this comment on a video:
And of course I had to check it out, this is their alpha build:

Gotta hand it to them though, at least they're trying.
