Is it bad if I find those comments less hilarious and more rage-inducing?
I love when cops are really condescending to these street lawyers with cameras
"It's officer Shulz"
"Don't worry I'll move it here, where it's safe" *moves camera from dry ground to the snow*
He moved it out of the way so it would not be accidentally hit again. I do not think he intentionally put it in the snow.
But this moron certainly thinks it was intentional.

The comments are mesmerizing. It's like reading a book happening in an alternate universe.

Yeah, but if I were the cop I probably would have done it intentionally in the back of my mind :v:
What an idiot

Honestly I know how you feel. It is mesmerizing how some people can think this way.
Those comments can't be for fucking real.
You can't be that fucking dumb. Please tell me they're not serious.
Because holy fuck that is just wow.
People seriously fucking think everything would be better without any law enforcement? What the fuck, seriously. They're saying cops are nazis but imo they're the ones acting like nazis, like they want to take the law in their own hands or something.
These people are fucking sick.
what is with people and their "fuck the police" mentality?
Teenagers who read somewhere on the internet all cops are dicks and out to get you.
Truely a hero amungst the sheeple

you can do what i did and report the video for terrorism via promoting hatred and violence
because the guy's a fucking idiot looking for views
whoops haha posted that in the quote box
This guy is a total fucking idiot, he thinks because he reads a few wiki's and he is some type of legal expert.
Just because a place is OPEN to the public it does not mean it is a PUBLIC PLACE. Only certain areas in the police station are public, rest is authorized personal only. They have persmision to bar, kick out, etc anyone. By his fucking logic because it is partially open to the public we should be able to access labs, lockers, training rooms, etc.
I hate these dumbasses with cameras, they're literally getting themselves in trouble and acting like dipshits for no reason. Then they want to blame their stupidity on a "broken system.".
Why don't they go actually use all that energy to be proactive in their communities, record ACTUAL real crimes and assist police instead of being stupid. All he is doing is wasting officers time and the states money because he is prolly gonna fight it in court.
Just makes me angry, a lot of injustice in this world and we got idiots like this.
I didn't see him rummaging police lockers or sneaking into their showers. Isn't lounge a public place? You don't need to be authorized to access the lounge, do you now?
jaywalking scum
Does anyone have the video with the cops arresting a shoplifter who's resisting arrest while the people who are filming say it's police brutality? The male cop explains the situation after. It was posted here a while back.
Edit: Found it. Those watchers are just...ugh.

I'm happy to know that the one who filmed that and wouldn't shut the fuck up is the one that received backlash rather than the officers.

Of course they're gonna fucking apprehend the kid for jaywalking since the kid is fucking filming them.
If the cops wouldn't have gone after him, the idiot kid would have still put it on youtube and been like "Faggot dickless cops don't do their jobs, fire them" and that would have been bad for the cops, unlike this where they actually do their fucking jobs as intended.

Guess you missed my point.
Open to the public - Anyone who is operating within department policy/guidelines can ask a person to leave. Just like they can lock the doors and tell people to leave, they can also limit and restrict entry, etc. Its a government building, not a park.
Guy was given an answer he didn't like, so he stood around loitering and recording different areas of the station. He was zooming in on doors, etc. For what? Simply to get a reaction.
I love how in that second video he starts to believe his own bullshit about wanting to make a documentary.
These kind of people are such assholes. :v:
There are a whole lot of people on YouTube who seem to make it a hobby to video tape themselves 'engaging' with the police in every way possible.

I've been to that gas station a few times before :v:
I think that's near one of the other gas stations where an officer ended up getting shot and killed. So yeah, lots of cops tend to hang out around gas stations up in Topeka.
I know Jaywalking is a crime but I've never actually seen it enforced before.
I had an old officer come speeding down the road at me for walking on the street a few years ago. We're like a one street town pretty much, there was no traffic at all at 4am, and the light takes like 5 minutes regardless of the button press at that time of night to switch. So I look around, no car in sight. Once I'm nearly across the road, a car in the distance starts picking up speed and comes flying toward us. Sure enough it's a police officer, and he's an old man sheriff. So he starts on us for walking across the road, I was kind of laughing, but we were nice. He was trying to be a pushy asshole, but I just talked nice and he let us go.
He really wanted to charge us though, really stressed the situation. Meanwhile, him speeding up toward us was the only danger. He didn't even use his siren, so I'm sure that was probably illegal on his behalf. So, I guess the safety of the people really depends on them speeding at you in the winter when you're walking across an empty street.
I truly believe common sense should play a major role in these cases. If there's clearly no danger or risk involved in the situation, it really should be let go. I am sure if the kid just complied from the get-go, they would not have done anything more than a stern warning. But this kid was an idiot.
I hope this guy gets hit by a car
I feel bad for the officers who have to deal with morons like these.
fucking america is a police state

He just uploaded this, fresh off the presses.
The teen is so awkward and unassertive it's legitimately funny. I'm surprised he mustered up the confidence to do this.
Last time I was approached by a cop was on Halloween a year ago. I took off my helmet, showed them my ID, and within minutes we were all sitting around cracking jokes about the crazy lady that I freaked out. It's not hard!
It's a good thing when people know their rights.
[sp]police officers in this case[/sp]
I fucking despise this mentality. "Police is here to protect MY rights, they should respect me and do shit for me!", no they fucking don't, you shitface, they're there to enforce the law that shouldn't descriminate.
I see Russian road police everyday being helpless against assholes, because they're not autorised to use even their limited necessary violence. These kinds of movements (fukdapolice) are so prominent among our car-driving population it's unbearable, and it's all against road police, who aren't nearly as corrupt as people make it out to be: it's actually one of the few official services that legitimately try to do their job. And because of how limited their capabilities are, and how strictly they follow the rules most of the time, people don't respect them.
Ha, road cop, fuck off, I'm filming you - ha! And the poor bastard just stands there, he can't do shit against an annoying asshole sticking the camera in his face but to pointlessly argue in circles. That's the reason why we in Russia drive so badly, most of us just don't give a shit about impotent law enforcement agencies: and when we do get cought, first thing we do is try to shove money in officer's face (and then if succed, proceed to complain about corrupt cops). Who won't stop giving a shit about their job and just take the money when you're dealing with this amount of active disrespect every day from every second asshole, and you can't do anything about it then and there?
Wouldn't be surprised if America turns out to be like Russia in a few years.
Since everybody has started filming the most unnecessary things just to be edgy.
wouldn't filming the cops and other people in the station be a violation of their rights?
Good to see facepunch is being represented well.
