what the hell is that internet browser you're using?
Vivaldi is built on the ideas Opera had before it dropped all the features that set it apart. Vivaldi has things like mouse gestures and tab tiling (multiple tabs open at the same time in the same window), and personally I think it's one of the best looking browsers currently on the market. Furthermore it's getting a built-in email client, and it's built on Chromium so it supports chrome addons.
It's also unfortunate to see how many people think cops are on their side. They aren't. The same man I mentioned in my previous post once spent 7 months being shuffled around in the prison system without a trial, all because some crack heads randomly attacked him on the street. The officers lied and said they found drugs on him. He eventually got his court date because his friends got activists involved and they made a big stink about it, but it took them 7 months to find him after all the shuffling. He filed a motion for the police to produce evidence and they could not, so he was released, although he was still put on probation even though no crime was committed. It's is an officers job to arrest people. They aren't there to help, and they aren't your friend. I've met some cool cops but if you go around assuming they aren't pricks, one of them is going to nail you. For my own personal story, I am RIGHT NOW fleeing my state because the police have been unable to protect me from a violent and murderous roommate. I called them to my home a dozen times when the roommate would invite her scumbag traveling friends over to threaten my life and attack me. One time the roommate and her friends came over and ruined a shop we had set up in the backyard, destroying thousands of dollars of equipment, while my boyfriend tried to defend himself since he was trapped inside. The best the cops could do is arrest everyone involved and release them that night. We even had audio recordings of them making death threats at me and the cops couldn't do a damn thing. In fact, they threatened to arrest ME for recording them, even though the threats were directed straight at me! I had to pull up the penal code and run it by the sergeant just so that I didn't get landed in prison with eavesdropping charges! It's ridiculous just how useless they are, and just how fucked you might be if you let them trample you. [editline]15th July 2015[/editline] One more thing I would point out since it ties into all this. Let me throw some stats at you: It's troubling to me that we live in a country where private prisons spend millions of dollars lobbying for extended and increased incarcerations and they simultaneously make billions in profit from prisoners. Big names like Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Fidelity Investments, General Electric and The Vanguard Group are some of the biggest contributors to the private prison industry. In the past decade the number of inmates in private prisons has risen 44 percent. We have documented cases of judges getting paid off for sending people to prison. The US has 716 prisoners for every 100,000 people, which is higher than both Russian and Africa. Europe is just over 100! You could combine every first world country on Earth and it wouldn't match America's numbers! We are stealing people's lives away, and we are making a big fat fucking profit off it. It's a real thing that is happening every day and being swept under the rug. Also funny that 40% of prisoners are black, for no great reason. So we are needlessly capturing mostly black people and making a big profit off of them. Does that sound familiar to you?
Sovereign citizens took my job and raped my dog, buncha fascists i tell ya. They aren't your friend, it's unfortunate you and so many people think that way. Right now i'm hiding in a bush and the cacophony of "am i being detained" is deafening, one more speech about the constitution and i'm done
It's also unfortunate to see how many people think cops are on their side. They aren't.
Man, either you're crazy or America in general is crazy.
you can tell that bitch around 10:30 is a total tumblr keyboard soldier
I have no idea what's going on in this thread, but omg in the OP when the first officer just grabs the window and shatters it with his bare hands- holy shit so badass
The girl parked in the fire lane was annoying as fuck. As a side note, fire fighters love pulling up the fires with cars blocking hydrants/fire lanes because they get to fuck up the cars.
'car parked in front of fire hydrant' on google images returns nothing but these window breaking images, it's so satisfying [t]http://cdn.abclocal.go.com/images/kfsn/cms_exf_2007/_video_wn_images/9071456_600x338.jpg[/t] also a bonus from that search [t]http://i.imgur.com/6J7TMpY.png[/t] reminds me though, I had a really angry neighbor who fit the theme of all this "I can park/drive wherever I want" junk, he was FURIOUS if you parked anywhere down a stretch of road covering three large house lengths (he was the middle house of the strip), because it allegedly made it impossible for him to back out of his driveway. You couldn't park around the curves of the cul de sac, and the other side was usually full-up with cars already so you couldn't just double-park. Parking on the outer edge of the circle was illegal because no matter where you tried, there was a mailbox or electrical access box thing. [t]http://i.imgur.com/UXpqg9N.png[/t] Driveways look huge here but if you have (for instance) four cars over, somebody'll inevitably park shitty and prevent people from pulling further up, or someone will decide they want to be able to leave early without getting parked in and they'll just park on the street. whatever, it's legal to do so. After a few altercations, I went around and did the math- our road was technically wide enough to consider it three traffic lanes, and his little toyota SUV had one hell of a turning radius (in reverse) apparently. Besides the usual violent outbursts (like calling my girlfriend-at-the-time a 'fucking cunt' at the top of his lungs in a nice subdivision) he got exceptionally furious one day, because my sister and her friend were swapping cars around in our driveway and one had to pull into ~the forbidden zone~, but hadn't even parked or gotten out of the car until he was out there yelling. After a short shouting match he stomped off to his car, threw it in reverse, and slammed on the gas. Flew out into the road and screeched to a halt barely a foot from the side of my sister's car, which I hope was soul-crushingly embarrassing in hindsight because his entire car fit comfortably sideways across the street with her car still out of range. dude had some serious anger issues and there were a good number of instances where the cops showed up at all points in the day. Not sure if he was calling them or if it was conflict with other neighbors, but he always seemed to be the "I have exclusive ownership of X amount of road in front of the house and am always right, because I believe myself to be" type, which was as ironic as the rest of his assumptions after I dug into some available records- He was renting.
Yeah, here's the not so funny side of the sovereign citizen movement
Yeah, this basically sums up the on-the-streets side of the sov civ movement. Very sad that we have people like this just shitting on the constitution and taking things way too far for their own personal gains. Canadian courts call them OPCA litigants based on the Meads v. Meads decision. Very long read, but the first few pages sum up the courtroom side of these morons. In a word, it's just a whole lot of bullshit. (Canadian courts also have to put up with references to the UCC, strangely, even though it is a U.S. federal code only.) A lot of taxpayer money is wasted by these jackasses clogging up the court systems with trash, and not only in the U.S. and Canada. I don't know why I pointed that out sorry
