Because youtube caps at 30fps. When I'm actually playing a game and I go from 30fps to 40fps I can already notice the difference.
Well I can't. When I play games I have to strain my eyes to see a difference; not the video. Dunno why I'm getting rated dumb for my own perception tho.

I've heard a lot of good stuff about this game, I think i'll pick it up sometime.

For me anyways; but then again I am extremely shortsighted; colorblind, and have a problem with one of my pupils being out of sync with the other. Eyesight sucks I guess.
It amazes me how worked up people are getting over something as this. Just play the game if you're on the fence, they're fine and play fine.
too bad the ps3 framerate is terrible
who really gives a fuck about anything over 30 fps [editline]14th November 2012[/editline]
...What is so bad? The average human eye cannot tell a discernible difference above 30fps anyway. They both look pretty much the same average framerate at which they ran on the PS2 back in the day. This hardly makes it unplayable.
~
Rented it to curb my desire for buying it until I get the money. Its lovely to see it in HD. ZOE was one of my younger favorites, so this is an exciting time for me.

It really is wonderful eye candy. I understand the styling of the the 2nd runner (which I hold as my favorite of the two overall), but in retrospect I prefer the graphical style of the first game.
