Well I can't. When I play games I have to strain my eyes to see a difference; not the video. Dunno why I'm getting rated dumb for my own perception tho.

I can see the difference in that at a glance yes; but that is only because it is 2 foreign objects being compared side by side; ingame it makes no difference when it comes to noticeability.

For me anyways; but then again I am extremely shortsighted; colorblind, and have a problem with one of my pupils being out of sync with the other.

Eyesight sucks I guess.

Oh yes, I still have both for my PS2, and I've played about half way through the second runner, and through a couple of areas on the first one. It really is wonderful eye candy. I understand the styling of the the 2nd runner (which I hold as my favorite of the two overall), but in retrospect I prefer the graphical style of the first game.
