Exactly this. I come from Christchurch, and over there, NO-ONE sounds like this.
This is gives more of a good idea on what we actually sound like, its only the pacific islanders and maoris who generally sound like OP's video

Just a note: you don't need long hair to be cast as an elf, because they'll put a wig on you anyways.
