You told people to get disease and die, and you are saying we are "too high strung".
how the fuck did he say that jesus what
he said "If you want to, continue it" not "YOU SHOULD DIE"
If you want heart disease, diabetes, cancer etc, go ahead and eat meat to your hearts content (pun intended); I can't stop you anyways.
Being Vegan has been proven to be more unhealthy by a lengthy statistic. So don't even start that argument.
Enjoy your lack of vitamins and a demographic that's grossly underweight with a higher mortality rate than people who eat the entire pyramid.
I know you're trying to shelter yourself using buzzwords like cancer, but atleast have some dignity.
If everyone feels the same way I'll snip what I've said. People around here are a little too high strung; they need to beat their meat a little more.
"i'm playful don't take offense"
"You cause everyone great suffering!"
nah, just learn to communicate effectively.
Let the backpedaling -snip snaps- begin
I've had the chicken, it's okay, it's great to chew but it doesn't taste like chicken.

I could put them back in if you'd like. Would you like that?

I mean there's no use in :snip:ing once people have quoted everything

I'm just snipping out of respect so that you people can enjoy the video like you'd all like to. Just don't scroll down K? Don't look down there.
It's honestly a pretty interesting video, but maybe you should have just restrained yourself instead of causing a page long shitstorm
In my defense the last 3rd of it is because of those that won't cut me any slack at all and give me flack for going either way in the matter.
In any case it's pretty interesting and somewhat funny to me to see the bandwagon effect in full force. People are rating the video dumb now and they don't even know why. :v:
I feel like veganism is based on this weird worldview where plants aren't alive too. Exactly what do vegans think plants are? I don't understand. They're really not that different from animals. They have a survival drive and everything.
It's not so much a matter of what is and isn't alive. It's a matter of hopefully saving the planet.
Am I joking? Am I not joking? Find out on the next episode...
You're in too deep. Abort!
I think mostly everyone wouldn't care about eating non-meat-meat if it was exactly like the real deal
or even know
It's not so much a matter of what is and isn't alive. It's a matter of hopefully saving the planet.
yeah cause meat is going to kill the fucking planet.
Well for starters the meat industry produces large amounts of waste and emissions that could be avoided by tweaking our diets.
It's easily one of the top 10 industries/things destroying the world as we know it.
Aaaand what happens when there's too much livestock around the globe?
It's a serious delicate balance.

You have no idea how resilient the Earth or even humans are
It's not so much a matter of what is and isn't alive. It's a matter of hopefully saving the planet.
Saving it from what?
The natural cycle? Things must go extinct for life to go on chief. Evolution and climate change are harsh mistresses.
Man, this whole discussion is getting me hungry. What should I eat?
Enlighten me, I'm always open to new information and intelligence on the matter(s).
Also by the logic of not eating meat, don't heat your house because you can dress warmer!
don't use power because you dont need it!!!
You can survive without those 2 things as well but you don't see anyone being up the ass about it too.

Support your local butchers and considering its in season - Buy yellow perch or walleye.

Yeah the Earth is kinda a big baddie for this sort of thing, 99.9% of all species that have ever lived are extinct now
Man, this whole discussion is getting me hungry. What should I eat?
You seem like a guy who needs some superchicken tacos to me
if we never harvested meat from cattle they would have gone extinct because they are literally useless animals
save the cows by eating them
Do people here all of the sudden not mind climate change? Like, I'm a meat eater and all, I love meat, but how is that the bio-industry emits a shitton of CO2 not a fair point
Also by the logic of not eating meat, don't heat your house because you can dress warmer!

But neither of those things are necessarily destroying the world. Don't you care about climate change etc?
Now that's over, can we discuss the video?
He has a serious point about the ecological damage livestock causes.
Livestock produces exponentially more waste and excrement than people do but we just dump it in the ocean. There's a serious ecological damage being done there.
When the rainforest is cut down, it's to have more grazing lands for cattle. Livestock is a damaging proposition.
[editline]8th December 2015[/editline]
The thing about livestock is that it's INCREDIBLY water intensive.
More so than any other industry.
In OPs somewhat defense, the title that he bought links to a weed tumblr so the strange posts may have been PUI
[editline]a[/editline]
ok nm he said in his own RC post that it wasn't
I've never understood this mentality
The moral argument is disputable at best.
The ecological/economical argument is not.
