I remember winning like the third batch of prizes from a Mystery puzzle hunt. Young me was so happy.
Goddamn it moose
that scene with you kicking the old lady made me wake up the entire house
Gaming guilty pleasures, eh?
I don't know if I have too many. Macdoo mentioned Neopets, and I think I'd put that one up there, but I haven't played it in AGES. For more recent games? Fable 2, and to a lesser extent, 3. A lot of people hated these because they weren't much like Fable:TLC, but I loved em. 2 was in my opinion on par with 1. 3 had its drawbacks though, and is my least favorite of the series, not counting The Journey.
However, I think my ultimate guilty pleasure?

Now I don't know what the majorities opinions are on this game, but I FUCKING LOVED THIS GAME AND STILL DO. I first tried it from a demo disc in a PC gamer magazine when I was a kid, and as soon as I beat that, I begged my dad to pick it up on his way back from work the next day. My brother and all of my friends that played it though said it was mediocre and boring, but screw that noise, this game is phenomenal.
For those not in the know, its a simulation game where you build up and run a space station. Well, sort of. You're given a run down old station and told to bring it up to speed. You get a wide cast of aliens from the stout, hard-working Groulien Salt-Hogs, to the tech-savvy insectoid Targ; the religious and snobby Zedem to the lazy, luxurious, good-for-nothing Polvakian Gem Slugs. You get three "decks" on your station, the "main deck" that houses all your bare essentials, sleeping berths, energy collectors, cargo holds, recyclers, things like that. The "pleasure deck", which has the casinos, hotels, restaurants, bars, and "love nests". And lastly, the "bio-deck", where you can terraform your own artificial outdoor environment and grow plants.
Sure the campaign is a tad weak, considering it was a long glorified tutorial, but it had its interesting moments. One in particular, where you learn the basics of security, you're put in charge of a prison station. And then you can play in the sandbox mode, or even play multiplayer (which sadly I have yet to try) The game however boasts quite a bit to do. Farming plants, researching new tech, producing cargo to trade with merchant aliens, or even go to war with other supervisors trying to start up an operation on your station. You need to keep your alien guests and residents happy by providing food, rest, entertainment, etc. There's events that occur, such as when a ship contacts you, saying their crew has contracted some sort of plague, and they request to come on board to get patched up at your med bays. Meteors can strike you biodecks and potentially kill all in the area unless you evacuate it. Spies can infiltrate your station and plant explosives. A whole bunch of things!
I love this game, if you can't already tell. I still have my disc from all of those years ago, and have it installed on my computer as I type this.
If you're interested, its currently available on GoG for 3 bucks. And if you ask me, its very much worth it.
You know what? No. As Moose said, I'm not even giving you a choice. Go play this damn game.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go play this right now.
Also, YES, HARRY POTTER. It was awesome!
The only game I love that I consider a guilty pleasure is Super Mario Sunshine. Everyone else hates that game.
My guilty pleasure is a weird 2002 game that I kept playing the demo over and over again. Freedom something. Never played the full game. It was bad, but goddamn I loved it.
Evil Genius too.
Damn, there are sooo many bad games that I love.

There are only 2 games that I know of that have Freedom in the title and that's Freedom Force and Freedom Fighters. Was it one of those 2?

Dungeon Keeper 2*
DK2 improved DK 1 on every aspect.
Have to agree with Runescape, I started back when it looked horrible too.
Played it for about 2 and a half years, then somehow forgot my password and couldnt get my account back and cried.

Yup. Someones gonna need to gif that bad ass dance
I liked Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 on the PSX.
That shit was awesome back then.
My guilty pleasure game is.. Popcap's Chuzzle.
Is Skyward Sword considered a guilty pleasure? I feel like that game gets a lot of undeserved hate. But I still love it.
My guilty pleasure is any game with dinosaurs. Jurassic Park Operation Genesis, Turok Dinosaur Hunter being among the top ones.
My guilty pleasure - Transport Tycoon, it's stale, but i enjoy it.
My guilty pleasure? World of Warcraft.
Does Yungtown live near you? If he does, you should get him in a stream with you sometime, that would be fucking great.

a lot of zelda "vets" think its shit
i saw nothing wrong with it
My guilty pleasure is Freerealms on the PS3. It's weird, lame, but for some reason I can't stop playing it.
I share 3 of yours.
DDR/Dancing Stage Euro Mix. I've only ever had the version for the PS1, but I'll always play it whenever I go to the beach. Normally the same songs as well.
End of the Century
Paranoia Rebirth
Dynamite Rave/Afronova, whichever I'm in the mood for.
Runescape I keep coming back to, it's nice to see how much it's changed.
Sonic Adventure 2. I only ever had the Gamecube version but loved it. It was on my Steam wishlist and a friend recently bought it for me. It's a lot worse than I remember it, but I still love it, and the Chao levelling thing.

A bunch of zelda vets think that any 3d zelda game is shit and a bunch more have the nostalgiafag factor so any 3d zelda game after ocarina or majoras mask is shit.
I played a bit of the beginning and I liked it. Wasn't too keen on the art style though.
