Everytime i watch a PC vs Console debate, i expect something useful and truth from the console side. But they always dissapoint me.
Everytime I watch a PC vs Console debate, I expect ridiculous fanboyism and flamewars from both sides. I'm never dissapointed. Everytime I feel I'm about to say something witty, I don't realise the page number. I always dissapoint myself.
Looks like BBC won.
Well they agreed in the end. I was expecting blood.
He is listening to portal still alive as victory music.
coolest black man ever!
He is very unique.
Wait what happened?
know hes talking about stories of his life. its pretty funny.
Did he record it? did TechviewUS record it? Goddammit i want to see the debate!

If you missed the debate he put it on mediafire
http://www.mediafire.com/?pj1idx642162o92
Who won?
Still listening to it seems like BBC is but it's quite balanced. BBC is bullshitting a lot, the other guy makes some good points but I think both seem to be too into the debate rather than the topic at hand. Wait nope, the other guy is dumb.

I just installed forza into a 8 gig flash drive. -Can you install games to a flashdrive from xbox live? -Yes. -An official xbox 360 flashdrive or one that you had to format? -One that I had to format. -So you had to buy a 3rd party piece of hardware in order to extend the experience on your console? -Yeah? But you have to do the same thing on the PC. -Exactly! -*5 seconds of silence* nooooooooooooo maaaaaaaaaaaaan. *starts naming expensive processors that you need to buy even tho they have agreed few minutes earlier that you actually don't , then changes subject*

I mean if he's not lying then he's a lucky bastard. But the other guy made some okay points as well, but he was dumb a few times like for instance him saying P2P was better than Dedi, or talking about it takes him 20 mins to find a CSS game.

I check if I meet the requirements and if I do I download a game from steam or install it from a disk, double click the icon on my desktop and then I hit new game. That's it. How is that fucking harder than console? You just have to sit through the installation and they all have the "easy install" option so you don't have to worry about it. What you shouldn't have to check the requirements? Well when you buy a game for console you still need to check if your console is compatible. And you should rarely have problems with games, unless you pirate stuff.
Yeah, I guess. But worrying about hardware is added stress. I suppose if I was to play devils advocate I could argue that but to be honest I think if you have good hardware you know just like BBC said that it will eat up any game you put on it. The only time you need to really worry is if you have an older machine.
I hate it when people say you need a 2000$ desk top to play bioshock. for 350$ you can play bioshock and for 500$ you can play it on high
more like for $500 you can pretty much max everything
I checked and for 500$ you can play bioshock. by later buying a 100$ videocard you will have the graphical capabilities of over 4.5 360s
People probably look at fancy casing or pre-built junk which can easily push up the price.
you see but you can't really compare PC hardware to console hardware directly
well a console is a computer.
well a console is a pc. but just without windows and a keyboard.
Running windows doesn't define a PC
Running windows doesn't define a PC
I didnt say it is. Im saying that a console technically is a computer.
I didnt say it is. Im saying that a console technically is a computer.
Not even technically. It is a computer.
Not even technically. It is a computer.
Even my Christmas Cracker calculator is a computer
Thats what im trying to say.
He's saying that binary = PC. Yes they all work with the same basic technique. But they aren't the same.
