PCs are better. That's really point and case. But there are plenty of people that enjoy using consoles more. But I don't quite see how you can say consoles are [i]better[/i], when you can do anything and much, much more on a PC.
Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
And I have my own views on this debate.

I'd say 360 games are generally on PC, but Nintendo and PS3 games are exclusives a large portion of the time.
A lot of the PS3 games wouldn't even be fun on the PC. like I couldn't imagine Uncharted 2 being fun on the PC but thats just me. Some games are built for certain consoles but the PC is well capable of playing them all. In 10 years time, we will probably have Play Station 2 emulators on our PCs the same way we have PS1 emulators. PCs will always be superior but some people will just want a console because its easier and cheaper because their friends play it, no system specs, ect.
One thing that baffles me when PC gamers argue with Console gamers over lifespan is that none of them seem to have the capacity to just remember shit like, and say that a high-end gaming pc from the same year as the consoles were releases will obviously play anything they will play within that generation so therefore their "lifespan" argument can go fuck itself. an 8800 GTX with a proper dual core and 2GB of ram will run anything in a better state than the consoles.
Meh, even the "supperior pc gamer race" are insanely retarded at counterarguing this shit hence it's just comical.

It's because undereducated drop-outs often confuse "more convenient" with "better" It's something that happens alot with the english language, mostly in the south though. Look no further than "ain't none" or "all but"

I own both a PC and Xbox 360. I enjoy both and play them for different games and they each have their own strengths.
I prefer PC gaming, but I don't see why we can't just have these gaming systems without arguing about superiority, they're both fun in different ways.
We can't be friends because we can't play with each other.

Upgrading a PC isn't that pricey. It's only about $100 per component, and usually, if you are trying to make your computer play newer games, you can easily buy a year-old card for about $100. It's not that common to get multiple parts for a computer at time because that's stupid unless you are starting from scratch, which will cost you $1000 for a good computer and $2000 for very good computer. Maybe less.
I smell a ton of elitists in here.
Why can't we all just stop screaming about how if we have a better gaming console our dicks are bigger, and just enjoy them all? Why can't you all just grasp the concept that they both have their differences? It's not that hard. Just enjoy them all, stop trying to get your e-peen bigger. Players on the different systems are not so different from each other. They are all people who like to play games. Seriously, with all this arguing it makes sense how people call us nerds.
I have an Xbox 360 and I think that PCs are better even though mine is shit, I have seen the potential of PCs such as better graphics and modding but you need to have a good one to play games which sucks obviously

What I hate about console gamers is that I haven't seen a single one (who publically presents himself/herself on-line) who is neutral. Who likes both PC and Console without being an elitist, "Oh I like Xbox so PC sucks cos you need this and that etc..." I myself am a PC and Console gamer, and I like them both equally, they both have their ups and downs, but most of the console gamers think that their opinions are OBVIOUSLY the best.. That's what I really hate.
And why are the 3 people here ALL console gamers? Wouldn't it be more logical to have at least one PC user to see the different arguments instead of just having 3 console gamers sucking each other dicks and preaching the consoles?
