I have a ps3. I prefer PC. I have no idea why these people are like "PC HAS TO BE UPDATED ALL THE TIME LOL". As long as you have a good graphics card, your good. I have an ATI HD 5770 and it runs every game A LOT better than the ps3.

There are a few games that have mods for split screen like l4d2, although I don't know if they are good or not.

You can do that without mods and using some console commands, same for L4D. However i'm pretty sure you can do the same with UT3, GoW and borderlands by starting up the game twice and using another program to send controls to the inactive game window.

I just built a PC for $250, which is less than an XBox, and runs any new game max @ 720p; as most consoles run them on medium at the same resolution.

I will be completely honest.

If something identical to Steam came to a console, where there are crazy sales on games that you DOWNLOAD instead of buying physical copies of, the servers aren't shit, and if you could use a keyboard and mouse along with the provided controller I'd be a "console" gamer.

Right now, I game 90% on PC, and 10% on consoles because I like playing sports games, and those suck on the PC mainly because no one plays them on Steam, etc.

Xbox360: At the lowest for reliability,My friend and I played GOW co-op for about 3 hours and the xbox decides to reset itself.
Ps3: a BIT more reliable than xbox 360.
Pc:I won't state the obvious.
