Finally, someone says it, and it took a crazy person to do it. Santa isn't REAL. So shut the fuck up why is it a top story on major news outlets whether he's white or black
Lest anyone think him completely sane:

That was 3-4 years ago, though
Most political pundits (O'Reilly for sure) are actually just pandering to their audience, and they don't tend to hold the same beliefs. They're television characters. Actors.
If you see their interviews and such when they're removed from that character, they're usually fairly reasonable and agreeable people.
I'm telling you guys, FOX puts something in their drinks.
That's why he's sane at CNN.

usually it's the stereotypical FOX network fan who'd actually jump to that kind of conspiracy theories first.
So there's a certain kind of irony if that's true.
"We shouldn't be talking about things that are minor compared to worse things happening elsewhere" isn't really a sane argument, it's an attempt at deflection. Of course Glenn Beck doesn't want to talk about homophobia in America because he's perfectly content with America's current level of homophobia.
To me, it seemed like he deflected the Santa issue to talk about the homophobia issue.
Not really. They were both saying the same thing that homosexuality is bad and should be punished. The rest is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. One said that gays should be burned alive, the other that they should burn in hell for eternity, but does it even matter?
the dude from duck dynasty didn't even like say shit against gays really, he said it was a sin in the bible and shit
it's not like he said "fuck the gays those fags should all be shot" he literally pointed out what the book said. sure it was heavy handed and potentially tasteless, but he sure as hell wasn't showing pure hate.

People gotta understand the difference between hate and recognizing sin. By definition, we are all sinners. That's just how it is in that context. Being gay is -technically- a sin, but so isn't plenty of other shit we do too. It's not a hate thing, it was just a comment made by a dude who was asked about it.
