Everyone got their 'David Cage Bingo' sheets ready?
Working on one right now should be out tomorrow
I shamelessly love every David Cage game, from Indigo Prophecy to Beyond: Two Souls. I think while he may not be a flawless genius, he ultimately crafts such fun, involving stories that aren't afraid to be bonkers.
Yup. Cage games are a campy nonsense mess, and I love every damn second of them.

David Cage only made one game and got possessed by the satan from another dimension he created in said game. Every other game past omikron has been made by satan.
If this is going to be on par with heavy rain I swear I will buy ps4 just to play it. People like to shit on Cage's games but I think they are at least ok and offer pretty unique experience. (except for beyond, it's complete garbage)

this isnt a joke but the actual plot of omikron
This game is going to be worse than actually living here in Detroit.
I might try it just because it's a shitshow.

I'm really excited just to watch TwoBestFriends enter the David Cage rage cage again

The problem is not being afraid of being bokers, the problem is that he writes himself into a corner and doesn't know how to get out.
That dodge at 2:40 looked incredibly unrealistic.
I'm so sure it's going to be something like that that :toxx: ban me for 2 weeks if there is no "but it was ACTUALLY" twist in this game
Toxx's are only permanent.
Was that implying a "start over every time you fuck it up" mechanic like Life is Strange or is it just a pretentious way of showing "you can make choices"?
Does David Cage even know how real human beings behave?
Calling it now, at most 6 decisions will divert the story in any meaningful way. The rest will just be window dressing telltale shit.
At least David Cage is aware of this and tells people to never replay his games or else the illusion of choice will be ruined. Unlike Telltale who keep insisting on treating every choice like it matters and ignoring the elephant in the room.
EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE REALISTIC LOOKING, but lets forget to put some more time in facial animation.
And its even such a close up an personal game.

the poor facial animations are actually plot relevant, as the wacky twist is everyone is actually a robot
Never heard of David Cage before. The game looked fine from the trailer, but has me worried for potential TellTale storytelling.

Telltale storytelling is literary masterpiece tier compared to David Cage storytelling.

I'd say the concept of Beyond is good, but it's missing something in execution. Doesn't help that he decided to go for a "NONE OF THESE CHAPTERS ARE IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER, FUCK YOU" method, too.
The best part was seeing the words "Fight Todd"
They suggested it.
this isnt a joke but the actual plot of omikron
don't forget that the first person you possess has a wife that you can fuck with his body
Cage particularly liked the early moment when the player, occupying the body of policeman Kay’l, beds his wife. “The idea of being in the body of a guy and making love to his wife – when she believes you’re her husband, even though you’re not – was a very strange position to be in. That’s exactly the kind of thing that I try to explore in all my games today. How can we put you in the shoes of someone else?”
My favorite is still his idea of game overs being a game design failure but he realizes he can't do anything without game overs happening so he railroads decisions on you, and even then actual gameplay segments still have game overs.

And yet most of his games have just regular plain game overs where your character dies and it asks you to reload a checkpoint or something.

You basically ninja'd my edit :v: but yeah it's hilarious because the only game I can't think of without actual game overs is Heavy Rain and we all know about that one.
He's comes across as really pretentious which is usually why I don't like him because his games aren't really that special. Not to mention his creepy approach towards woman in his games

I eagerly await the fourth installment to the sadness trilogy.
The entire fucking neighborhood is from Heavy Rain.
I thought I had a stroke when I noticed that.
maybe its actually supposed to be the same neighbourhood and this is in continuity with Heavy Rain
maybe its actually supposed to be the same neighbourhood and this is in continuity with Heavy Rain
Heavy Rain: Sci-fi edition, and we get to play as Agent Norman Jayden again.

So there's a David Cage game universe now?
Aside from it looking like graphical Vaseline, it barely looks like Detroit.
humans are the real robots
