Looks like there is also a This is how you don't play Spec ops: The Line if anybody is curious.
I love how it is $3k machine just to have one GTX 780 in it.
Also he shelled out money for hard drive cooling but not a upgraded cpu cooler?
Should have just stuck to pre-built.
Should've went with the r9 270 or greater. Although I bet this motherfucker didn't wear an esd bracelet and shorted some components out and shot his bus speed to shit.
Since he was using CyberpowerPC, he could have picked 2 of those since he was spending so much money anyway, and they would have chucked in a 4k 28" monitor in for free. Well, not free, but at no additional cost
I do recommend CPPC, though. They're cheap and the build quality is actually good. Wouldn't trust them with liquid cooling but I wouldn't trust anyone with it, anyway

If he's got the stock cooler in there, I wouldn't be surprised if he's hitting the underclock threshold from getting close to max thermal junction, and that's why everything runs so shit as soon as it hits 100%. :v:
the second he said "it has a good chipset..." i immediately realized that this was a joke video about him.
Like honestly, hes got 70 processes happening in the background, like seriously, what is he running in the background? Chrome with like 20 tabs?
I have 189 processes running right now. If most of them don't do anything it's not that big of a deal.
Phil should have just wait for i7-5930K which is coming out this year instead of buying i7-4930K you know.
edit: Oh wait, he hasn't done his research on i7-5930K I was regarding so nvm.

In the screenshot he has some Thermaltake one.
With my experience thus far, I'd go with only Noctua stuff to be honest. Love my NH-D14
What game was he playing?
I don't even know who DSP is.
I don't even know who DSP is.
Good. You don't wanna know.
What game was he playing?
RAGE
I could build a better comp for like $1500(case/monitor/keyboard/os/mouse excluded)
Hes a fucking idiot in both the amount of money he spent on that type of PC, and hes a fucking idiot because he probably doesnt have the shit set up right so hes not putting all the encoding load on the fucking cpu, the shit most modern games seem to be using far more heavily than gpus now.

Why the hell would you ever need harddrive cooling? I never had my raptor which ive had since fucking 2003 ever show signs of failure or anything, let alone let heat be an issue? Or is this some new problem with SSDs?

It's pretty much snakeoil in modern computers. harddrives run very cool unless you literally put them in a box with no airflow.
Are there actual people out there that watch DSP unironically?
Who the fuck watches something "ironically" in the first place?
This guy has to be playing a character.
DSP has been so consistent about his behavior and idiocy that whether or not he is playing a character is no longer relevant.
Although I'm fairly certain he isn't. No one would ever go through more than six years of retardation as a joke and never snap out of it, not even in public (DSP has been known to be a huge cunt and a complete idiot in the presence of people IRL and in situations completely unrelated to video gaming).
Besides, you don't blow 3k on ill-advised computer hardware for a joke.
Who the fuck watches something "ironically" in the first place?
To laugh or make fun of it, that's all I can think of.
man if I could spend 3000$ on a machine (custom, actually true proper build, cutting price yet maxing everything) I don't even know what I would do
I would probably be spending 100 of that just on modifications on my desk alone to shove a bunch of unneeded screens on it, have like, stainless for my desk top, replace my mouse with the same mouse just because
DSP has that money though. How the hell.

I'd also like to add that he's done some bad enough shit that, even if he was faking all this stupidity, he's still a massive asshole, to the point where it'd probably be worse if he was faking because he knows perfectly well that what he's doing is shit and going through with it anyway
I find it funny that he has all this money to spend on moving and getting a $3k computer and a new car yet has no money to spend on surgery for his back. Just another idiot wasting money.
I find it funny that he has all this money to spend on moving and getting a $3k computer and a new car yet has no money to spend on surgery for his back. Now I've gotta grind for money!
Though on other topics, I'm not entirely in on the specifics of this goof-up, what's the list of things DSP has done wrong this time?
Couldn't he just use shadowplay and get better performance?
Couldn't he just use shadowplay and get better performance?
He could just do a lot of things and get better performance.
Heh, DSP disabled comments so someone uploaded it with comments enabled

In the video it shows he has a single 750, I have no idea how he accomplished to spend that much but he did.
Oh yea, I just realized, he attempted to play on max settings, stream 1080p 60 fps, and record to put it on youtube, with just one mediocre computer. JESUS CHRIST

Breathing for one.
Heh, that computer that Chris built him once performed better than the currently one that costs him about 3.000$. he even said on the other video that he could play and record RAGE just decent. Karma hit so bad.
