Best part of the Danish ration was definitely the fruit porridge, especially the strawberry one.

Risifrutti?
My dad brought my brother and I some of these a while ago.
When we were done eating them, we found some chocolate in the box. It was far too hard to eat, so my brother put it on a spoon and stuck a lighter under it. My mom flipped out and thought he was doing heroin.
Oh, and I caught some anchovies on fire with the heater thing which wasn't flame less at all. It was just a white cube that smelled like lemons that you lit on fire to heat up the stuff.
Chili and Beans will also never let you down, there Banana bread is also really good especially with Cheese.
The newer MRE's Have gum in them and there's a rumor that it's a laxative.
I wanna go on welfare just so I can try some of these
Heard some stories about MREs, they usually don't label what they are on just the packaging when your in deployment so when they hand them out it's like "lottery day" and sometimes you'll get an amazing meal or a terrible one.
To anyone eating any MRE's of any kind, don't eat these very often, you you will gain weight very fucking fast. most of these are high protein, high calorie food nukes to kick a hungry soldier into action for a few days. and by high calorie, just the main course is several thousand calories.
When I eat MRE's they usually last me a few days. I don't eat the whole thing right then and there.
The MRE pound cake is really good.
