I miss making my own Machinima :( Oh, for those that are interested - I hosted the old War of the Servers website up - http://www.robertstoneman.com/wots/ some of the links work and some behind the scenes stuff also.
I hope the stuff I posted about you on the previous page isn't wrong information by me :v:
I've noticed a large decrease in Machinima value as well. Hopefully, once I finish up my "UnKnown Moments 5" video, I could get around to producing 1 or 2 more other Machinimas before heading off to college next fall.
Anyone remember 'Slapdash' 1 and 2? Was that Lit Fuse or just PHW comics?
Hey guys. Remember this?
Remember? I was in there private steam community. I remember Cortez telling us that the show was over.
PHW comics' shitty representation at a storyline. If this was Facepunch a couple years ago, I would get banned for just bad mouthing it. it was horrible because the first one had no plot at all. some guy bumps into another guy then starts the flailing arms of religious undertones. second one tries to build up on that by having the drunk who randomly bumps some guy ends up being the brother of the guy he bumped into. both movies (and war of the servers) were primarily action based and those are just as likeable as a michael bay film without the questionably hot chick and random explosions; that's called a golden pile of shit. i'll give it credit though. it was good for its time with the collaboration and work put into it.
Slapdash was made by Steinman though. So it was pre-lit fuse. I even asked them about it a few years ago, they said they were embarrassed about it.
We called it "having fun".
We called it "having fun".
Would you look at that it's a blast from the past.

Just re-watched all of The Leet World. So amazing. And from a Smooth Few Film's blog update, there's a possibility of a new TLW short at some point once CS:GO is released. "No promises"
Fuck it, I'm also rewatching The Leet World.
Robert Stoneman (who is a member here, although very inactive) actually filmed stuff like Transformers, the 7th Harry Potter movie and the 4th Pirates film. Edit: Forgot to add The Dark Knight as well.
http://www.robertstoneman.com/?page_id=5
Well thanks to all for the support for Lit Fuse! It's been very fun, I still do Machinima every now and again when I get time! my latest being "The Perfect War" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2TmbmtmxHw and "The Half Track" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JB1ARpSGvAM.
Ignis Solus and Flight of the Fenix were terrible. I have yet to see more pretentious and bland videos about absolutely nothing.

That post processed camera shake & DoF and poor understanding of how photography works in real life always made their machinima look worse than it could have been. But those were the days, when recording machinima in TF2 still meant having to know fuckloads of console commands and their order of use, how the Source engine worked, and knowing how to use who-knows-how-many programs to convert a simple demo file to an avi. Shiiiit negro those guys were heroes.

i believe the nahob films are ten times more entertaining than anything lit fuse made; I'm just making up an "excuse" to post them when their relevancy is obvious.
