Holy SHIT truth overload Jesus Hchnh Millions of views incoming
He keeps doing the Nikki Minaj deep voice..
Hopsin is actually a pretty cool dude. If you watch any interviews with him, you'll see that he's pretty damn real.
Hopsin has become a pretty big deal in the US it seems. He recently made a song with tech9 and... B.O.B, but even bob is pretty good in this song. hopsins verse is at 1:33 and his flow is amazing in this one. He's gonna be a star.
Hopsin left Ruthless Records, owned by Eazy-E's widow, Tomica Wright, after lack of support and financial compensation. Hopsin expressed anger, saying Wright didn't know what she was doing, did not take advice and had terrible marketing schemes. Hopsin talked about his first album Gazing at the Moonlight stating it was released without his consent and that he was not even able to listen to the mastered version of his album before release.[11] Hopsin finally left the label as Tomica said he didn't do his job as an artist.[12] Hopsin later founded the independent label Funk Volume with Dame Ritter. SwizZz, who is Ritter's brother, was the first artist to be signed to Funk Volume.
Jesus he got hit with some awful luck. Worked out for the best though. I'm glad he's independent, doing his own thing, and building a label.
Not as good as OF lol, but then again you can't really compare.
Is that OF/Hopsin beef still going on?

Sag in my pants is pretty good but I still really like Ill mind 5 because what he said is what I've been thinking.
yea the ill mind of hopsin 5 came out last night
That's a major misconception about hiphop.
Hiphop is so deep and expansive. I hate it when people just discard it completely because they think all rap is the "gangsta rap" that played on the radio in the early 2000s. Sure, there's loads of cash-in, superficial rap, but it's no different than any other genre.
Hip Hop as well as Metal has a very stark image to the public. Both aren't modest or easy to get to grips with, but dammit they just fill you with energy. They're both in the same boat and not many people see it.
I fucking love rap.
Simply fucking amazing.
Holy shit his eyes are amazing.
If that is how he feels why does he keep this kind of imagery in his videos?
Im probably the only who didn't like this song, or Hopsin himself for that matter, at all. This particular song panders to people who think the rap industry is dying or some shit, and that the majority of hip hop artists are just in it for the money. Regurgitating the same shit a lot of other rappers said years ago. Both B.I.G and Wu Tang had similar songs about how the industry is 'dying' and is filled with wannabe posers or whatever and each time they get massive praise for being enlightened or other such bullshit. This just reeks of pretentiousness and hypocrisy. I heard other Hopsin material and he doesn't seem that far off from the people he seems to hate. Rapping about inane nonsense and wears contacts to appear edgy and threatening. I dont fall for this "being real" shtick at all, and in my opinion it's just another way for him to appeal to the market that's tired of the mainstream stuff. If he's honest, good for him. But I doubt that.
I don't think the main message to start out with was about the rap industry at all, but he seemed to ponder off at the end, but came back to it advertising himself. The song is mostly about teenagers of today. I loved the song, mostly because I have a brother that is exactly like the guy he was beating up on in the beginning. It's not nonsense because he was completely spot on how my brother is. There's no "being real" thing in there really except he expects the breakdown of the people who it is targeted at to listen to him more after he puts himself out as a leader. I don't know the Hospin guy much, or really care to find him out, but the song was very well made and I'd share this to people who listen to this genre and are like that so that they can see how I see them in a brutal way.
I don't even like rap mostly because of the stereotype words and all that jazz But this is some legit artistic, true-as-all-hell stuff. I loved it

this sounds like a hopsin track alright. when is he ever going to stop "being real" and start actually being real.
He's got a nice flow and rapping ability but the shit he raps about has been done a million times over and really isn't that poetic. There's a lot nicer stuff out there by other people that actually hold more meaning and value.
i cant fucking stand hopsin he's an arrogant little shit, his attitude sucks, and he's gimmicky as shit why do people like this [editline]18th July 2012[/editline] and his 'message' is so tired, its been done to fucking death
good song but hopsins gimmicky contacts are just awful + hes nowhere near the "best rapper" but his lyrics are great [editline]18th July 2012[/editline]
i cant fucking stand hopsin he's an arrogant little shit, his attitude sucks, and he's gimmicky as shit why do people like this [editline]18th July 2012[/editline] and his 'message' is so tired, its been done to fucking death
lol tyler the creator avatar would have been much better song if he rapped about killing people burning things and fucking school, fuckin hardcore fight the power i hate my parents too [editline]18th July 2012[/editline]
next to metal, hiphop is probably one of the most diverse genres out there.
i dont see how theres any "diversity" in metal
He is not the best out there, and there are people who are more poetic than him for sure. But he still has flow, and his lyrics can be amazing from time to time. I love freestyle, freestyling needs quick thinking and creativity, I use freestyle to find the best rapper out there. The better freestyler, the better rapper. This is just my opinion. EXAMPLE OF AN AMAZING FREESTYLE:

Bro Kristoff Krane is so good. Eyedea has to be my favorite freestyler though, and I especially love it when he teams up with Slug. These are all better artists than Hopsin.
Hopsin keeps rapping about these things like he's being original but really it's not. Many artists have said these things. It's just he's wording it in way that's even easier to understand without complex lyricism and metaphors. That's why it's trending in the US right now, and I'm seeing people post it on Facebook saying things like "omg so tru"
The one thing I never got was the arguing between OFWGKTA fans and Hopsin fans. For example, in the music video of Yonkers or Ill Mind of Hopsin 4, there's always arguing. I think you can't even compare the members of OF with Hopsin. They are all equally as good on their own levels

And Goblin? You get no props on it It sucks so much I get blowjobs from it
Oh, I see. But it's still a pretty fucking dumb thing to argue over lyrics
hopsin is such a fucking baller god damn
