are the suits not flame-proof/retardent
still wouldn't want to be there, greeks are having it hard
most riot suits do have extra padding to help against fire such as this
but it can really only do so much, why you see the one guy kneel down that was hit.
He knelt down for others to surround him and cover him with their shields, while people knocked the fire off him, or patted it down.
Rubber bullets or beanbags usually scare crowds away.
What the hell were the exploding things? Fireworks?
look closely right at the beginning, the cop does a badass molotov deflection with his shield
Yeah this isn't going to fix anything and will only put your country in further debt as it has to pay for all the extra hours the police have to work and all the damage the rioters do after they get bored with throwing rocks at the police.
most of facepunch was the snitch in school and kissed the teachers ass so i can see the hate for the rioters
its good to see them taking it to the streets due to the collapse and its good the socialist got elected
When a riot somehow manages to break out in your small, mostly white, suburban town, your house gets set on fire, and all of your valuables and food get looted by "your own kind," you're going to wish their were riot police to save your sorry ass.
I really hate to see such a Beautiful Country in such a terrible state!
fuck rioters, they're stupid ones here
So these guys don't have a right to be pissed off with the authorities? Did you ever stop and think that maybe they can't always get to the goverment buildings to throw shit at them so have to make do with the police lines. These guys didn't sign up to have their country get fucking pillaged and raped by the Eurozone while the police know who they work for and STILL they protect these robbing bastards. Read up a little on whats going on around the world and see if it doesnt piss you off. You won't have long to wait though until this same shit comes to visit you. I hope you've seen some sense before then for your sake.

I bet you belive Stalin was a pretty swell guy by your logic.
Sorry I didn't know that the Riot Police were personally entering people's houses, stealing their food, and forcing them to lose their jobs.
They're just there to stop any further damage. These rioters are senselessly destroying private property and businesses. There's no excuse for that.
"We're already poor, so lets destroy more stuff so other people are poor now, too!"

No, instead they're a protecting a system which is doing something similar. It's a matter of livelihood, so of course people fight those guarding the bastille, so to speak.
In america, sitting peacefully in a circle warrants gas canisters to the face.
In Greece, molotovs are a democratic tool, and is left totally un-disciplined.
Is Greece just like in constant riot-mode now or something
that is really all I've heard about it for the past few months/years.
Only pussies dodge Molotovs
Yeah, because burning alive is so manly...

Greece is currently in the worst state of all the Eurozone countries. Spain is the next in line which is pretty scary as I live in the Canary Islands, Spain. If this shit keeps up then Greece is a vision of the future for me :(

Greece is in a really bad economic state and has done little to nothing to fix it, aside from ask everyone else for more money.
