I don't get the "surprise" thing, honestly. Could someple explain it?
Even if the baby was healthy, the mother probably wouldn't have been able to financially support it if the dad died. What's uh....what's wrong with you?

The father had a sick sense of humor and decided instead of throwing a surprise welcome home party, that he'd throw a surprise funeral.

Not saying that it happens commonly at all but this is the absurdly depressing episode after all
I thought the opening was bad, but that last one wasn't even fucking fair.
oh fuck
my hand is bigger than my face too

am i going to die
I must be an emotionless robot or something, I giggled a fair amount at this
Nobody sells their children anymore. This isn't the 30's.
Well C&H isn't exactly known for their realism
Anyway I should probably stop

I found it to be a lot less depressing than their regular comics. I think they specifically put in those funny punchlines like the cancer test thing.

yeah, the comics this week have been far worse than this video. makes sense
Really; all that stuff was genuinely depressing to you guys, or are you joking?
Wasn't depressing at all to me because it was all so... generic. And the twists/jokes mixed with the fact I like to laugh at peoples misery. Mostly that.
Get a load of this guy

I agree with this part
The last one really got to me. Especially since my best friends mom passed away last night after a long battle with cancer.

Congratulations, you have no sympathy.
I didn't really find it depressing because they all had some punchline, irony, or twist to the usual theme of a sad story.
I couldn't take the cancer one as seriously sad because it started with that funny hand joke
First one was the best, then the quality dips and rises for the rest. The old woman in the home hit me hard, but when Jimmy crosses out Anna's name after JUST crashing his car I mean that was just silly to me.
That was fucking crazy.
