1)an artistic form of auditory communication incorporating instrumental or vocal tones in a structured and continuous manner
2)any agreeable (pleasing and harmonious) sounds; "he fell asleep to the music of the wind chimes"
3)musical activity (singing or whistling etc.); "his music was his central interest"
4)(music) the sounds produced by singers or musical instruments (or reproductions of such sounds)

Contrast to:

2)the auditory experience of sound that lacks musical quality; sound that is a disagreeable auditory experience; "modern music is just noise to me"
7)randomness: the quality of lacking any predictable order or plan
wiki) In common use, the word noise means any unwanted sound. In both analog and digital electronics, noise is an unwanted perturbation to a wanted signal;

But this all boils down to a semantic clusterfuck as the perception of music v noise is subjective so it's best to keep this discussion under the rug.
Noise music=/=noise
Merzbow is cool. If you can't hear any music in that then you're ignorant.
Merzbow's collaboration with Sunn O))) are really good as well.

not really
it's music even if you don't like it
same goes with art in general

Differing perception =/= ignorance.

There is a difference between classification and perception.
Lolicore? Is this what pedos listen to when they're abducting children?

No sorry. In this case it's ignorance. It is music. This is a fact. Don't even fucking try to deny it.

Well it's good to see the tactic of ignoring the opposing argument and shouting your main point until your enemies bleed still isn't limited to :foxnews:.
Just because YOU don't perceive it as music doesn't mean it isn't music. This is the exact same argument as stupid people calling death metal etc not music. EXACTLY the same. There is no argument. It's music. That is a fucking fact.

I've had this argument with someone claiming death metal wasn't music. I've also had this argument claiming death metal wasn't music. The problem with your analogy is that many of the people claiming death metal isn't music don't give such hard hitting, Google supplied Princeton citations and rock solid logic (I used bold because rocks are bold and daring, see?) that I have.
Actual noise and noise music aren't the same thing though :|
Weeaboos
Actual noise and noise music aren't the same thing though :|
I never said they were. In fact, when I jumped into this I didn't even know that there was such a thing as 'noise music'. I believe you are to blame for the assumption that noise = noise music.
No, I'm defending the fact that noise music is music
Not that noise is music, or whatever
I don't even listen to noise music. I just find it irritating when people don't call something music because they can't understand it.

Congratulations, you've lost me. It's almost like you're skimming my expert citations, picking the keywords out, and recreating the sentence, then throwing it into translationparty.
You've lost me too :crossarms:
All I'm saying is that noise music is music
That is all

And what I'm saying is that the perception of music is subjective, however the classification is not. You should learn not to get in a huff when someone says they don't consider x to be music/art/a licensed jousting tournament on the ISS.
I read the title to be "Loli Rape"
