Even though I'm not as huge a fan of their Sonic 06 series as some people may be I respect their decision for wanting to finish it all seeing as how ridiculous and bullshit the game can be.

Oh god, that ending. The pain :v:
I can just imagine Arin putting down his controller as a statement to beating the boss, not noticing that last fireball.
that part with the money bags WHHOOOOOOOAOAAAAA
bones just fuckin full of money bags
Oh that ending was beauty :v:
excuse me, what do the hearts actually do in Castlevania?
give you ammo for your weapon
excuse me, what do the hearts actually do in Castlevania?
According to Arin, they allow you to have more of your powerup (throwing knives, crosses, etc)in store and on the screen at a time at certain intervals. [editline]March 3 2013[/editline] I've just been rusted.
excuse me, what do the hearts actually do in Castlevania?
They act as ammo for the subweapons, different subweapons cost different ammounts of hearts. They also get liquidated into points at the end of a level.
That has got to be the most feedback I've got from asking a question in FP ever. Thanks. Also, why would you...use hearts as ammo? It makes no sense...
Also, why would you...use hearts as ammo? It makes no sense...
Italian plumber fighting turtles
From what I hear in mythology (Maybe in Japan? I forget) it was said that candles hold spirits and the hearts were people's souls or something. You know what I forgot where I even read that from forget about it :v:
why didnt jon go for the the holy water jar ever that wouldve made the fight so much easier
Italian plumber fighting turtles
Yeah, but the difference is that hearts in videogames are almost an universal symbol for "health".
Yeah, but the difference is that hearts in videogames are almost an universal symbol for "health".
I wasn't referring to hearts being ammo, I'm referring to it not making sense. Video games don't have to make sense. If Castlevania wants health to be bars and ammo to be hearts, so be it.
man, that moment at the end same thing happened to me with Ice Man in Mega Man the first time I played it. The fact that it freezes the stage for a second when they die throws the timing off so much.
I had a similar thing happen to me with Bowser in Super Mario World about a week ago. Shittiest way to die in a platformer.
why didnt jon go for the the holy water jar ever that wouldve made the fight so much easier
i guess 'cause he thought the clock would be the best way to do it before realizing it didn't work
From what I see I'd expect that they never played any dreamcast/GC/ps2 sonic game, because then they'd know that there's always a "last story" campaign after finishing all the main ones. I hope they don't miss out on it.
I have a feeling they are pretending not to know so when they finish it and start to celebrate they can do a whole "Oh god there's more!?" thing. They have a strategy guide, it probably says it right in the contents page or something.
Or they just don't consider it a proper campaign, it's just one level and a boss
these guys are not funny
That same thing happened to me in the first Portal. I put the last core in the hole, and the neurotoxin went off at that same second. So I got the achievement for beating the game then watched the ending on Youtube.

Why are the levels in this game so long
Why are the levels in this game so long
Jon spent ages twatting around
these guys are not funny
Yeah man, Gramp Groans fuckin blow. Never watching this shit again. Your elaborate and well articulated reasoning has made me see the light of truth.
