This is getting really bizarre. This series has been self-referential from the start, but now it is going so meta its absurd. A video of a video of a video of a video of a video...

The earlier videos are self-referential in the sense that it's a youtube video parodying other cliched youtube videos like unboxing videos, hair and makeup tutorials, cooking videos, and so on. If Alan Resnick has any clear artistic message at this point, it must have to do with the tension between people who want to freely share skills, knowledge, and artistic talent out of a love for what they do and a desire to socialize and other people who profit off of that but make their work possible. Doesn't Youtube share ad revenue with popular uploaders? Is the message that this is a negative thing, or what is he driving at?

Before the alantutorial video, I had no idea ping pong balls did that. One comment on this video mentions that burning plastic like that releases hydrogen cyanide. In other words, doing this sort of thing in a closed room is a terrible, terrible idea.
Has anyone else tried figuring out the url to that memime video? It's either unlisted or deleted, but the url in the alantutorial video is different from the one on the memime channel.
