I don't really fucking care as long as the game is fun and responsive within the context of the game.
That's all I care about is a good story, fun gameplay.

it's ok to run locked at 30fps if you're on less powerful hardware. on my surface pro i keep dota 2 locked to 30fps because it feels way worse when the framerate keeps fluctuating from 35 to 60.
totalbiscuit's point is that games should all [I]allow[/I] 60fps at minimum.

you have to remember that one of the games considered by many to be a masterpiece of gaming, Ocarina of Time, was locked at [B]20[/B] frames per second... ([B]17[/B] in the PAL version!)
