• Console Players attempt to Play MOH:Warfighter on the PC

I'm pretty sure you don't lose all ability to ovserve the game when you switch controllers, this is a bit pathetic and it's even more pathetic that the video's really trying to paint M+K as an alien inoperable device
This has to be a joke.
I get emailed from Machinima every week or so asking me to promote their shitty shows through my channel. I'm glad I didn't sign up.
Before posting, better check the facts, those people playing on the PCs are NOT console gamers or gamers AT ALL. The idea behind this show is, that every show participant has a someone associated with the USMC in their team and they have to solve tasks together such as shooting shit or... play games. It's a dumb show but it's even dumber classifying everyone not being able to play with mouse and keyboard as "console gamer" without knowing what is going on. Console gamers =/= marines playing a PC game the first time in their life Seriously, I always thought this is a rather smart community, but I have never seen a thread this bad with so many people following one pattern without even thinking. Let me explain what went wrong in this thread in a matter most will understand: OP: LOL FUNNY DOG DIS DOG IS DUMB, HE THINKS BAG KILLS HIM Facepunhcy: lOL, dogs 1337Cactus: Dogs are so dumb Catpusyy: Dogs are so dumb, can they even exist by their own? Someone: Is this even a dog? Garryman: I hate dogs Gentlemanny44: That bag will surely kill the dog Doghater: DOGS ARE SO RETARDED! I don't support console gamers, CoD or anything but HOLY SHIT, this was the worst hivemind reaction I have ever seen. That's something I get from fox news viewers not from you guys. I am dissapointed as fuck.
Don't you get kicked from servers because of that? I know I guy that claimed that he was using some sort of mouse+keyboard for console and the game kept kicking him because of "inappropriate controlling device"
no one kicked me yet. for my xim 3, i had to buy a microsoft approved wired controller and it emulated controls off that.
poor syndicate what are you doing on that show

As much as I love my PC controls I want to see someone playing a Racing/Football game with PC controls vs a controller.
The guy that are playing the games are soldiers, not console gamers. The premise of this show is that the soldiers show the gamers how to shoot guns and shit, while the gamers show the soldiers how to play games.

I was about to comment on this. Why is this skinny fucker holding an AA-12? His posture isn't even right, goddammit.

Seriously? I mean I can understand something like meta-gaming in fighting or strategy games, but an average FPS game?
I didn't realize gaming was a difficult skill that requires tutoring. Seriously?
i suppose if you've never played a shooter in your life or even any video games it's quite difficult. i've tried watching my dad play a game for the first time since like super mario brothers and it was the most painful thing ever [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] the things they mess up on are just the coordination between what the left hand and right hand are doing, like strafing left while looking right and then aiming at the same time. old people can't do that shit man
I'd give them a bit of a break because they don't even look like people who'd play video games, but there's little excuse to not know the layout of a keyboard.

Why are you guys bagging on them? Maybe some peoples lives don't revolve around the computer/console like some other peoples do.
Hang on a minute the people playing have no experience whatsoever on both console or PC. They are ex military. The people standing by their sides are the actual players. They are their to coach them and vice versa when then the gamer competes in military challenges.
Because that kid with the braces who looks like he is 16-17 is ex military. Yeah right...
I just have to say that visually, Warfighter looks fucking beautiful.
Make him play portal, then you shall know the meaning of pain.
oh man, i tried to get my dad to play portal a few years back. it totally went over his head i watched him run straight forward through the same portal about 10 times repeatedly before i asked "what are you doing?" and he said "following that girl"

Thank god for that Slim Jim bonus whoo-whee.

It's like "Hey, we need more money, so we're gonna give these blue guys this pack of beef jerky for BIG BUX"
Why do they need someone to tell them how to play the game? I mean the guy that stands next to each player, how does that even help? "Yeah shoot that guy, and that guy, aim down the sights, throw a grenade I guess".
oh ffs it's an input device it takes maybe 20 seconds to understand how to use it properly
I feel bad for the coaches, not because of the people playing or anything, but because I know first hand that trying to help someone out who's playing a PC FPS for the first time is frustrating and annoying. It's not like a sport where you can tell someone to kick a ball, see how good they are at it and help get better based on that. It's telling someone "Throw a grenade, quick!" and their response is "How?" and you tell them it's the "G" key and they find a way to spend two seconds maneuvering their thumb to press the button.

During the "live fire" the big burly guy was coaching the scrawny guy and during the game the small guy was coaching the big guy.
warfighter just looks like bf3 with smaller maps, i dunno if it's worth $60...
oh ffs it's an input device it takes maybe 20 seconds to understand how to use it properly
No, it doesn't. It takes years of experience to even be able to perform basic functions in most video games. Most people here have been playing video games for years, since they were small children. They have become experts at this, and many people take these skills for granted. Think back really hard to when you first started playing games. I remember being horrible at the simplest of games. I went back and played Spyro the dragon, one of my first games ever, a few weeks ago. I remembered that game as taking me weeks to finish with help from my brother. I finished it in a matter of hours. It's just like how some people who have enver played baseball can make complete asses of themselves when trying to swing a bat, while someone who has been playing baseball since they were a kid will have no trouble.
What the hell is this, why are they all muscular and bald.
Although I don't doubt people who manage their time to fit get to the gym and game, I hate when these stupid game competitions choose twits who's only quality is TV looks, except for the scrawny one with braces who was literally useless. Machinima is all centered around that shit now. What was even worse was their "communication" part of the game where they wore headsets WHILE STANDING NEXT TO EACHOTHER just to point out enemies on a small screen.
