And no one even bothered to check the person's gender before arguing.
Everyone that has grew up with the internet has. Posting your voice on the internet is borderline something you have to check off doing when you're 12.
Besides, this kid's voice is actually pretty okay, it's not like he's blakeownzu.
He could make it a bit higher and pass as a woman. Then no-one would have issues :v:
in fact he'd even get a bunch of subs cause people on youtube hungry as shit for women.
[editline]8th November 2013[/editline]
HOLY FUCK
As someone who's absolutely against kid's using microphones, from my own regrettable experiences saying stupid shit on xbox live when I was younger: This is fine.
I mean, to me they sound like they could just as easily be a woman, but if they are a kid then I mean it's fine dude
Having looked at their channel, they barely even use their voice, they mostly just make game grumps and two best friends animations for fun and presumably to practice the animation.
They had an idea for a short little joke cartoon, and they made it, and it's actually good.
Be glad this kid (and what is he, like, 13? That's not THAT young) is using shit to make things that are actually decent, and furthering his talents, rather than, I dunno, making minecraft let's play videos with a cell phone camera.
[editline]e[/editline]
and it is a woman
there no more debate
I hope none of you have kids if you have problems with their voices
Edit:
The dumbs only show I'm right.
Well, I can't determine if the voice is of a teenage girl, or a young boy.
a lot of adult females sound like this too and some of the time it's cute but this isn't exactly that voice
I hope none of you have kids if you have problems with their voices
Sounds like ageism crap to me tbh.
I didn't want to believe ageism exists but this thread certainly proves it.
[editline]lasld[/editline]
were you bullied for your voice when you were young?
No, my voice dropped fairly low as soon as I hit 13. And prior to that I was bullied for other things, but my voice wasn't one of them.

I'm willing to bet most of the people who say that kind of thing are in their teens to early 20's who aren't really set on having children and undergoing parenthood. Just yet, anyways.

There's nothing wrong with children's voices. They just don't make for good commentary.
What the fuck is ageism. It's just a fact that a kid's voice just doesn't have the same emotional impact as an adult's. You can't expect every voice to fit for everything.
Great that the guy wanted to make a video, good for him.
I would also, however, expect a degree of professionalism and competence from such a video.
Commentating with a prepubescent voice detracts from both of these.
It doesn't help that this particular video/message has been done before multiple times.
So yes, personally I would hold off on making videos until I had an acceptable voice.
I'd be making them too, but I don't know if my voice is good enough to actually make people listen without instantly hating me and thinking of me as inferior.
And I'm 19.
It's a video on the internet made by a kid, not some fucking 50 million budget movie with Ashton Kutcher ffs
It doesn't matter.
Not a kid btw apparently it a woman but still. Point stands.
If I was a 12 year old kid I'd hold off on uploading my content for public criticism until my voice actually managed to convey a message and not ever detract from it.
Not surprised the council of neckbeards on facepunch decided to make a public announcement they don't like the voice of a younger kid.
+1 self esteem.

What the fuck, she's not making a public service announcement, just saying "google+ is bad".

"doesn't matter" never holds in an argument, the fact that you show such high expectations from a kid doing a silly animation on what's hot on the internet is weird, especially how well made it actually is.
- "Daddy look at my drawing!"
- "Son, the colors don't match, the anatomy is terrible, the perspective doesn't even make sense. Please, refrain from showing me such atrocious art until you are at least over 16. Now leave me, I am eating cupcakes."
- "Ok daddy..."
- "Oh and son, don't talk, your voice isn't professional enough"
Can't tell if woman or 12 year old
From the looks of some of her other videos it's a woman.
ITT: Argue about children on the internet.

I'm sorry, according to Facepunch, you aren't old enough to be important, please try again in 5 years!

[sp]obviously joking[/sp]
Holy FUCK
Why is it that every post you make is 100% hatred-filled?

If that's so then you have a lot of underlying problems you need to deal with.
You two, what the fuck, you both took an incredibly benign couple of comments and went full shitstorm on them.
Yeah fuck kids who are doing shit at an early age to get a head start towards building their education and career because their voice isn't deep.
????????????????????????
[editline]sdkakd[/editline]
Like seriously would the video be any different if it was an older gentleman talking instead?
Grow up.

Dude that's kinda creepy
It's not the good kind of Spine tingle.
It's not a girl and he's 19...

The voice is actually pretty good in my opinion.
Just needs to be less "screechy"
Yes it should. Children and the noises they make are absolutely abhorrent.
It is somehow comforting to know that you will never breed.
Thank you.
i kept scrolling down past everyone flipping shit at her voice, waiting for someone to point out that it's a woman.
This thread is the definition of why I get depression over humanity sometimes, after reading this, I really fought my temptations to hit the bottle hard.
