it was ok
Scale of 1-10 I gave it about a 7-8. Wasn't bad or too good, just about average.

You know, I was pretty sure it'd be the most awfull thing of the century, but truth be told, I enjoyed it. It almost seemed like Seth downed his own show and praised the Simpsons. Modesty ? Also, that beginning segment about Petter's comic. If it's not a repsonse to the criticisms the show got because of Stewie's rape joke, then I don't know what it is. "I was just trying to make people laugh", Petter says. That pretty much hits the nail.
Hah. That subreddit joke.
For Pete's sake.
the James Woods gag made me laugh heartily but other than that exactly what I expected, lots of potshots at how awful zombie simpsons is. Not a great episode by any means, but it worked, didn't it? we all watched it
I think it's funny how the beginning of the episode started considering the fact that the episode itself got a lot of shit from the internet because of a joke that was made about halfway through. ([sp]Stewie's "your sister's being raped" phone prank[/sp])
This entire episode was just cameos and references. Is this what Family Guy is always like? I don't watch the show. Feels like it would get really old really fast. [editline]30th September 2014[/editline] Okay I kind of laughed at the end. [sp]"I'm a family guy." "And I'm a the simpsons."[/sp]
what a shit rip, the bottom quarter of the screen is missing
was this a secret area 51 test to develop a video that renders people incapable of laughing
The whole thing felt very bland. Also, did anyone else think that some of the Simpsons voices sounded forced or half-hearted? Also also: Ukinojoe's version was vastly superior* Link for those who haven't seen it *Svinpels' opinions may or may not resemble facts

The episode was a mix of the typical crap you get from both of the shows, as in it was your average crap.
Ehh it was alright.
Thanks, IGN.
Needs FOV sliders, then it will be good.
Ugh, got bored halfway. Wasnt very interesting.
I was surprised other cartoon characters got in on the mix. All in all it was really good for a crossover which are historically not good. Both poked fun at themselves and eachother (Peter's speech about liking The Simpsons in the past but being sick of them now and the joke Cleveland can't survive on his own). My one complaint is no Flanders (that I remember). Every other reccuring Simpsons character appears even if they don't speak. A huge chunk of Family Guy characters appear. A dead wife gets referenced. Other cartoon sitcoms appear. But no Ned. That's a tiny grumble. [editline]1st October 2014[/editline] The car wash scene, in my opinion, was hilarious. It was so simple and ridiculous. It was totally unexpected (I didn't watch here and see that thumbnail). That was the point it got funny (aside from Stewies rape joke the first half was meh)
"We're gonna make it!" "Trust me, we aren't" dat reference
I can think of a small number of crossovers which have actually been good, mainly from my childhood watching Nickelodeon. (Rugrats + Wild Thornberries; Jimmy Neutron + Fairly Odd Parents; Rugrats + Aahh! Real Monsters) Maybe because I haven't been interested in either of those shows in a few years is why I wasn't too entertained. I watched through it and there were a few jokes that made me laugh here and there. But the whole episode just seemed awkward and some things seemed forced. Stewie's little side-story especially seemed over the top for me, I was blown away. Not offended, just surprised.
I liked it and got a few laughs out of it, but that's probably because I haven't really watched either show in years. A few of the cameos did make me giggle when I didn't expect them.
I enjoyed it, and believe people saying meh have a hard time admitting they were wrong
This entire episode was just cameos and references.
Well that's what crossover episodes are for. One of the writers said something along the lines of "crossovers are more about the interactions between characters, and the main plot serves as a vehicle for it"
i liked it a lot basically
literally the first positive opinions I've seen for this are in this thread
It's really obvious Matt Groening had no part in writing this.
Eh, wasn't good, wasn't bad, but it still got a few good laughs out of me. The big problem here was that it was clearly a Family Guy episode. Though that Simpsons Movie reference near the end was great, holy shit.
best part was chris quoting dazed and confused
That Bob's Burger cameo How rude.
