Alot of you all most smoke crack or something. If you all had followed this game, you'd know that it's fucking old as dick, development wise. It's taken then a long time to get this game up and going. And, for the people that said it looked boring, re-watch it, yes he is in fact holding a badger and letting it fuck the shit outta people.
Since it is on Source I would say making it 1st person wouldn't be that hard. I'm sure a mod will come out.

I honestly don't think it will appeal to most people. Only the people that played the others will like, and buy this game, sadly.
Animations are horrible and when you hit them with melee weapons they should fly at the direction you hat them not just fall on the floor but the game looks decent.The bad thing for me personally is that there is no first person.
Now tell them to wait and port it to Source engine 2.

Damn haters, it's gameplay before graphics, fools. If you haven't played 1 or 2, get the hell out and stay out. It's an awesome game. Postal 2 doesn't have graphics like games now-a-days but it's still fun to play.

The problem with this game is that the gameplay is far too outdated.
As I already said, it would already be outdated back in 2007.
Just because you choose to ignore the game's flaws it doesn't mean they aren't there, and judging by this video the game has plenty of flaws besides being outdated in pretty much every aspect.
It isn't outdated, stop being a pessimist.
I really want to play this, postal 2 was a lot of fun.

How deep. Kill these or kill those, the gameplay is the same, you run around in a giant room and shoot a group of people that look slightly different.
I remember when they talked about meaningful choices with the example of either helping or running over a person injured on the street. While that is already stupid, this seems to take it even further.
Looks bland, boring and I don't see how third person benefits the game in any way. For the time it took them to make this I'd have expected a lot more, and not just "run around and shoot badly animated people with shallow explanations plastered over it for why you do so".
Also it seems that, again, all ways are pretty much the same kind of violence, and if there is a violent free way it is boring as hell. If they would at least have ironed out the shortcomings of postal 2 (lifeless surroundings, violence gets boring quickly, not enough to do thats not "run around on the street and kill everyone", bad animations).

gore could be better. But i'm excited for this game. In the pre beta footage the gore seemed better.

They make things ineteresting. In postal 2 you could be non-violent even so something would happen. Like honestly cash in your paycheck instaed of robbing the bank and a group of robbers holds the place up.
Honestly if you're not going to buy this game because you just run around and kill people (which you don't) then stop buying pretty much every game with guns and freeroam in it then or then you're just being a hypocrite.

I won't buy this game because all "options" you have seem to result in the same. My point is not that people are getting shot without much sense, it is that it doesn't look varied or interesting.
The good and the bad path of this trailer play exactly the same, only that your target wears different clothes.
All that in a bland environment.
Looks fun but a bit dumbed down...
