They're 4 famous dudes in a game set during the late 60's, the game's prequel also had a Beatles parody band in this nazi-infested universe. I do agree though, they could have made their hairstyles more Pepper like I REALLY hope the records they make for this game will shift towards the Fab Four's later albums, TNO had Please Please Me and With The Beatles sounding songs
One of my favorite things about The New Order was the subtle placement of real-world people in this fictional universe: the alternate-timeline Beatles who got forced to sing in German, Jimi Hendrix as a member of the Kreisau Circle, stuff like that.

I love his [sp]racism in America[/sp] speech, because when you hear it, you realize it's a commentary on the real world, on events where the effects are still reverberating to this day. "[sp]Before all this! Before the Germans! Before the War! Back home! You were the Nazis![/sp]" https://youtu.be/3KQLifOQC_g Linked because the title and thumbnail are spoilerific.
The new Wolfenstein series is just a fucking masterpiece. It hits all the right notes: great gunplay, great movement, engaging as hell, beautiful story, awesome visuals, and killing Nazis. It truly is one of the best shooters.

Not to mention the uncharacteristically broad shoulders and short hair for a couple of the guys.
Any news on system requirements? Hopefully it runs as well as DOOM did being Id Tech 6 and all.
Any news on system requirements? Hopefully it runs as well as DOOM did being Id Tech 6 and all.
New Order ran pretty well and it doesn’t look to be that much of an upgrade
New Order ran pretty well and it doesn’t look to be that much of an upgrade
the graphics difference between TNO and TNC are as clear as light and day. TNC looks 10 times better. If you watch any of the gameplay demos then go back and play/watch TNO is it very obvious big upgrade to the graphics. but Doom ran way way better then TNO, and since TNC is on the same engine it probably will as well.
New Order ran pretty well and it doesn’t look to be that much of an upgrade
If you have an AMD GPU, The New Order runs like absolute dogshit. I have to run a console command to lock the game to a single thread, if I don't the whole game runs at a 30 fps cap on my R9 380. [editline]19th October 2017[/editline] I really hope TNC runs well. I have high hopes it will, because id Tech 5 was a terrible engine and id Tech 6 is amazing.

One problem is the game doesn't automatically create a folder for cache, you need to do it manually.
New Order ran pretty well and it doesn’t look to be that much of an upgrade
not if you have a 144hz monitor. New Order was locked to 60fps :why:
not if you have a 144hz monitor. New Order was locked to 60fps :why:
Wasn't RAGE locked to 60fps too?
not if you have a 144hz monitor. New Order was locked to 60fps :why:
There's a fix, but you can still only do 88 because it shits the bed at 90. Even so. it runs like dick and balls thanks to OpenGl. What a dogshit API. Vulkan really saved a sinking ship.
DOOM runs worse with Vulkan on my GTX 1070
Runs much better for me on 980.
Runs much better for me on 980.
Weird, you'd think the newer API would run better on a newer architecture
Weird, you'd think the newer API would run better on a newer architecture
I think it's as much down to CPU optimizations as GPU. I've got a 3770k and a 3570k.

seems like they took notes from the DOOM OST. Very very good notes.
seems like they took notes from the DOOM OST. Very very good notes.
well it's the same composer as both DOOM and Wolfenstein TNO so, yeah.

Wait Mick Gordon did Prey's music? I didn't even fucking realize.
Wait Mick Gordon did Prey's music? I didn't even fucking realize.
He worked on so many games since KI and TNO. Doom ofc, Prey, Wolfenstein II, even did 3 tracks on Lawbreakers. he's super prolific, a game soundtrack is such a huge project, even when youre working with a whole sound team. His talk on GDC on the creative process behind Doom music is fascinating, he tells anecdotes like the whole sound team on Doom going to a meeting room to listen to the new Aphex Twin track that just dropped lol.
