i don't have a PHD in sociology or whatever, but my theory as to why this [I]exaggeration humor[/I] got popular is because anyone, regardless of how good they are at coming up with jokes, can just slam one out in a matter of seconds. it's the same reason why image macros got popular; they're EASY. that's why image macros are so looked down upon on here, because they're trash. facepunch just hasn't collectively grown to hate gender jokes yet, but it'll happen soon.
i've never really been one to be offended by these jokes because they're just so prevalent in 2014/2015 internet culture. go on [I]any[/I] gender/tumblr related post on reddit, youtube, imgur, here, and chances are you'll see a dozen [I]super original and super funny[/I] "wow i am so offended... i am a transpoly anthropomorphic anime-kin and this triggers me" "jokes."

Doesn't sexuality have to do with traits you find attractive? I like female traits and am male, I'm heterosexual. I like male traits and am male, I'm homosexual. I like both female and male traits, I'm bisexual.
If you like both female and male traits, doesn't that just make you bisexual? Why would it matter how they're arranged?

That doesn't mean people who do prefer them need their own sexual orientation, they're still Bi, which is prefering both genders. Trans people aren't some not-normal gender that people who like them need their own need their sexuality. Not liking them sexually is just a preference in the Bi Orientation.

No, I'm saying that her wanting to have a penis doesn't automatically mean she wants to be a man. That's two different things and the fact you are making them the same thing is the same argument that anti-trans people make about trans people. If you want to fuck a girl with a penis, then it says so right on the tin, you want to fuck a [I]girl[/I] with a penis. A male utilizing a dildo for sexual stimulation doesn't make him 100% gay, he could still be 100% only attracted to girls but like the dildo in his butt. Nothing gay about it.

Some examples of female traits would be things like wider hips, narrower shoulders, a less pronounced and more narrow jaw, more slender arms and hands, a smaller nose, those things. As well as breasts and a vagina, of course.
Male traits would be the opposite. Broader shoulders, more pronounced musculature, wider and more pronounced jaw, a thicker brow, more body hair, etc . . .
Of course those traits can be found in either men or women, but are most commonly found in one or the other.
I just don't see how someone could be attracted to certain traits when put together, but not when separate.

Genderfluid and agender are more wishy washy to be honest.
Effectively there's men and women, with transgender people transitioning from one to another. The three mentioned there cover about 99% of all humans in history.
