Uh, not to spoil everyone's fun, but how does this look like GOTY material? Pretty much everything was prerendered cutscenes, they didn't show any actual gameplay. I'll be waiting for some more information to come out before I commit to buying this
What makes you think its pre-rendered? All cutscenes in all modern GTA games have been real-time.
I hope those cars are just place holders, they look exactly the same as GTA IV's
It's not like cars have changed dramatically in the past 5 years. Look up a 2008 Ford Focus and one from 2013. [editline]30th April 2013[/editline]
Uh, not to spoil everyone's fun, but how does this look like GOTY material? Rockstar never show the actual gameplay for GTAs before release, which is an equal parts good and lame move.
No, all the GTA cutscenes are rendered in real time. Rockstar never show the actual gameplay for GTAs before release, which is an equal parts good and lame move.
Probably because everyone knows exactly what the gameplay will be like.
What makes you think its pre-rendered? All cutscenes in all modern GTA games have been real-time.
Maybe prerendered wasn't the right word, scripted would be better. At no point in the video do you see gameplay from the player's perspective, so you don't actually have any idea of what the game will be like.

This isn't exactly a new IP they are dealing with here. [editline]30th April 2013[/editline] I mean it's GTA. They aren't going to suddenly make it a first person shooter or a strategy game.

Also, there IS gameplay in it, it just isn't in the traditional sense, they take snippets of real-time gameplay and mix them with cutscenes from story missions, Rockstar always does this for their trailers.
Guess I'm the only one excited about beating juggalos...
I hope this is out for PC earlier than IV was I can't afford to buy an Xbox or PS3 just for one game :v

I'm not going to shell out $60 for a GTAIV level pack, they better have added something. GTAIII added 3D, GTAIV added Euphoria and way more detail into the city, so GTAV better do something cool too.
I hope this is out for PC earlier than IV was I can't afford to buy an Xbox or PS3 just for one game :v
Buy a used one, I got an xbox just to play RDR and Skyrim. Paid $50 for it.

There will be differences), more shit to do in general... Why do people buy sequels in general? So they can get more of what they like past the limitations of the previous incarnation.
all of my yes san andreas with a graphics update is pretty much GTAV summed up except with new stories yesss

Because they're fun, they're interesting, it's something to do; it's an experience in itself. And when you have a company like Rockstar, which is known for their high standards of quality when it comes their products, and a franchise like GTA, known for its engaging open world and fuck shit up type of gameplay, why wouldn't you buy it? It's not a GTA 4 level pack that's incredibly stupid to say, it's not Episodes from Liberty City, it's a whole new game. Besides they are adding something new that they've never done before, the ability to play as three different characters and switch between them seamlessly whenever you feel like it, actually I don't think any game has ever done that before (correct me if I'm wrong).
I can tell that cars are going to handle three times as well as the ones in IV.
I'm like 80% sure I saw grove street in there
Yeah, GTA V is in LS. try to find the giant VINEWOOD board or something.
Well if they have added anything new other than multiple characters, a dog and maybe airplanes, they haven't shown it yet
You have 3 COD games on your steam account and you are worried about innovation?
It doesn't come out for 5 months, I think that's plenty of time for them to discuss new features.
Well if they have added anything new other than multiple characters, a dog and maybe airplanes, they haven't shown it yet
At this point, GTA doesn't really have to have new features all the time. I would be happy with just a new city here and there, honestly. There isn't one GTA game in the main series that I've been disappointed with.
You have 3 COD games on your steam account and you are worried about innovation?
why did you check his steam account creep
You have 3 COD games on your steam account and you are worried about innovation?
Do you do this like every time? You even looked through some dudes youtube account to call him racist for a joke made in a video.
Buy a used one, I got an xbox just to play RDR and Skyrim. Paid $50 for it.
why would you play skyrim on a console
Do you do this like every time? You even looked through some dudes youtube account to call him racist for a joke made in a video.
Wait what?
That is a really good screen capture. This Nightride FM is going to be necessary with cars like this.
Well if they have added anything new other than multiple characters, a dog and maybe airplanes, they haven't shown it yet
That's how they work though, they don't show and tell everything at once, over the next 5 months I guarantee we'll see and hear more information about the game, it's mechanics, new shit you can do in it, etc. Even then there will be new things that they don't tell us about and we'll find them when we get our hands on it come September.
Wait what?
I could have sworn you did that at one point. Same avatar and everything.
It's probaby got a ton new customization options compared to GTAIV, the obvious slew of new vehicles, a new city, graphics/gunplay/handling improvements, also the feature where you can switch between characters at any time is pretty big
Cool, it comes out a day before my birthday.
Buy a used one, I got an xbox just to play RDR and Skyrim. Paid $50 for it.
How the hell did you find it that cheap?
