The baby's fucking crying and screaming away whilst she's doing it, it's clearly not enjoying what she's doing.
When are babies not fucking screaming.
this is too hilarious to express through my post
I showed this to my mom and she was so shocked she almost began crying.
I showed this to my mom and she thought this was fake at first, then she started saying that this is fucked up, well it is.
When are babies not fucking screaming.
AFAIK when they are sleeping or when they are not hungry or just generally when they are not feeling any pain or discomfort of any kind
This was in TV about 2 years ago, it's some German women in Egypt or so.
What she is doing is perfectly fine, it might not be very comfortable for the baby, but she checks every single baby before she does that yoga thing.
It's meant to improve the bone structure and stuff like that.
In that TV show they also had a few doctor who said that she doesn't harm the babies at all, given all her checks are correct.
Yeah and Chyropractors practicing on young children and infants is good too! Their bones aren't even fucking developed yet you can't do this shit
If I ever meet her in real life I'd strangle her
NielsGade please do us a favor and don't have children, it'd be a shame to read a news story about how you started shaking your baby around thinking it was a good idea
you guys are overreacting, I'm pretty sure she hasn't killed any babies and even if she did that's one less annoying crotch goblin
This woman, although she may be dumb, she thinks she's helping the babies by doing this. She has no bad intentions, but I have no idea whether or not it messes up the babies. Telling by her nature she probably would have stopped if she found out that a baby was harmed because of this. Shaken babies get fucked up because the force of being moved and stopping suddenly.
For example, on a rollercoaster you go pretty fast and upsidown and all over the fucking place, but you always end up ok because there is never a sudden stop. But in a car crash you are moving and then suddenly it just stops which has a way higher chance of hurting you than a rollercoaster.
But what do I know, I'm just guessing.
I do agree though, it looks fucked up.
I can't even watch this. It looks so wrong. How would we feel if some giant did that to us? I do think it would be very unpleasant.
with fine I assumed they meant not dead and not mentally retarded
I'm still sure it wasn't very good for the baby's body and brain and did some form of damage, that as far is known wasn't too severe
There's nothing to support what I'm saying but trust me I'm pretty sure
There's nothing to support what I'm saying but trust me I'm pretty sure
I'm not saying "trust me". Make up your own mind, this is just my opinion. Though that Shaken baby syndrome pretty much supports my claim of it being harmful to infants.
[editline]30th April 2012[/editline]
as long as you don't actually do it to any babies I could honestly care less what you think about this shit though
I've never actually felt nauseated watching anything before, but this... What the fuck?
I think baby yoga is just as retarded as the next guy, but condemning it based on ignorance is dumb.
Yeah, instead, we should condemn it based on the overwhelming evidence that violently shaking babies kills them.
Yeah, instead, we should condemn it based on the overwhelming evidence that violently shaking babies kills them.
Except this is not shaking, as someone said earlier, this is much like a rollercoaster, there's no sudden changes in movement.
Don't the babies get motion sickness or something? I don't see why this can be fun at all to a baby, healthy or not being swung around like that would scare the shit out of anyone
I don't think you can hurt a brain by spinning the head around. What force would damage it? I do agree with you on the joints though, those arms get twisted in awful ways.
Thing is, a babys brain isn't as solid as a grown-ups, it is still kind of mushy like maybe jello is (bit more solid though I think). Therefor it can easily be destroyed by shaking the baby or spinning it and putting a force on the brain.
