The game is complete fucking bullshit.
Hey fuck nugget. ITS A CLOSED BETA. They are working on the fucking issues. CALM YOUR 2 TIMED ASS DOWN
and what does it have to do with this abomination? [editline]17th December 2010[/editline] HAHA, I just checked, the game uses Refraktor 2 engine. The one used in BF1942. [editline]17th December 2010[/editline] It's even more outdated than BF2. Good job...erm...what are you called again?...Easy Studios.
Looks good for a 10 year old engine. It's also pretty good that it's so old. I could play it on a netbook :v: Sucks that it isn't on a newer engine though. Now every little kid and their shitty netbook\10 year old computer can run this.

Think of it more like the Source engine today versus the Source engine when Half-Life 2 was released.

Not really, especially since this is a free game. I don't know why you guys are hating so hard on this game. It is free, of course it will be average or even below-average quality. It actually looks pretty good for a free FPS.
Hey fuck nugget. ITS A CLOSED BETA. They are working on the fucking issues. CALM YOUR 2 TIMED ASS DOWN
I'm sorry "GameDev" but I really doubt they will be adding features in beta. All the features are supposed to be done already. AND stop FUCKING type LIKE that YOU redneck.
Did I see a tracer gun in his weapon slot?
Did I see a tracer gun in his weapon slot?
Yep.

Is that strike at Karkand?

I really dislike it doesn't have anywhere the atmosphere the bad company games had, the soundscape is really bland so far. Well they might still fix all that stuff and add even more, let's see.
It's being made by Dice, they're not some cheap shitty North Korean company. Lol I mean South Korea, NK doesn't have computers. Or people with free will. Silly me.
Not dice, the BFH team, the two of them are worlds apart.
Reminds me alot of Battlefield 2, so I'll probably try it. Looks fun.
Hahahahahahaha BF Heroes team :frog:
It's free, when it's released I'll definitely give it a try. I didn't like BC2 much, but if this is closer to Battlfield 2 I might enjoy it.
It's being made by Dice
No it's not. Seeing as how no one is bitching about it in that server, makes me think it's the player that is lagging.
Gotta admit that the weapon movement and sways is better than BF2 though.
All features are supposed to be done before beta?
Of cource! Adding the finished features as the beta progresses is a stupid idea. Beta is a fancier word of complete, didn't you know?
I want more varied helicopters again, but more PLANES. That's the one thing I fucking miss. Planes. They added challenge to survival, now it's "Oh a helicopter, tag it and fire a rocket it'll go down fast"
All features are supposed to be done before beta?

The purpose of a Beta Test is to discover bugs, iron out critical issues and streamline the gameplay experience for future players for when the game goes live.
and yes, all the features that is planned to go into release version are supposed to be present in Beta. They aren't supposed to be completed but they need to be in the game, otherwise Beta testers won't be actually able to test them (which, again, is the purpose of Beta). My only gripe is not being able to switch characters/classes mid round
Point out where it says that all the features are supposed to be in the start of the beta. They are going to add in the features as the beta progresses, it's logical.
and yes, all the features that is planned to go into release version are supposed to be present in Beta.
Wouldn't steamlining the gameplay include adding new features if necessary? Also aren't games at closed beta stage still far from being released and still being worked on?
It's in very early closed beta, so it's still got a long journey ahead of it.
Wouldn't steamlining the gameplay include adding new features if necessary?
Refining the gameplay does mean adding minor features to the game. Right now there are lots of features, that define Battlefield games, are missing completely.
Also aren't games at closed beta stage still far from being released and still being worked on?
Well, technically games in beta stage should be ready to be released as soon as all technical bugs (like lag, crashes etc) and design "bugs" (like exploits, balance, stuff developers didn't think of) are fixed. There is a tendency to call Alpha versions, Beta, and releasing them to the public. I wouldn't be so harsh again the game if they called it Alpha, since that basically means "Yo, this game barely working right now." and that's how BFP4F is right now.
Yeah you got a point there with the alpha. But since everybody knows it's not actually beta but alpha it's safe to assume that new features might be added.
If it's to get people interested in Bad Co. 2, they are doing it horribly.
What's the point of the ironsights? The gun seemed really accurate without aiming.
Sweet gunsounds though.
I've played the beta and I've never had the problems he encountered in the video. Yea it's needs work doing to it but isn't that what betas are for?
