Easily my favorite Cartoon Network show when I was growing up. Everything about it is so exaggerated and colorful that you can't help but stay hooked.
And courage, knowing you'd get nightmares but it was so good it was worth it
I had no idea kevin was voiced by a woman. She's really fucking impressive. Even watching her perform didn't break the feel of kevin being a guy.
I used to love this show.

Voice actors are so impressive, it's a shame so many people don't recognize how talented they really are.
Anybody remember the video game for PS2? That game was fucking fire
So have they ever revealed Double D without his hat? I remember a very long time ago you had to win the Cartoon Network's Food Fight flashgame as Double D to get a shot of him throwing his hat up in the air, but I think I read somewhere that it was not canon
I remember a popular fan theory that Edd's hat hides a crater in his skull that he got from a freak dodgeball incident.
I really enjoy videos of VAs doing their characters' voices, there's something fantastic about it. Thanks for sharing.
Lots of good memories of the show and the game was great.
I still remember the ~mysterious~ advertising they did to get people hyped before the show debuted, which was just a loop of a sketchy early animation of the three of them chasing a jawbreaker down the street while the theme song played, and eventually a release date displayed. Shit sure got me interested.
I hated this fucking SHOW FUCKING BULLSHIT SHOW WHERE ARE THE OTHER CARTOON CARTOONS WTF IS THIS CRAP when it first aired. By the third season I was hooked.
I loved this show so much due to the animation style and constant familiarity. Probably why I didn't enjoy the later season(s?) where they introduced new environments like the school. Just felt a bit off.
One of my favorite things about the show was how self contained it was. The show only ever had the 13 characters that they introduce in the first episode, with Eddy's brother being the only exception at the end of the movie (as well as showing some of the adults' arms in the last season). It didn't try to force celebrity cameos or have phoned in references. The only time it tried something really different was the setting change to mostly take place in school, which imo, was the weakest season. The fact it lasted for about 10 years without a major drop in quality as well as having a satisfying finale shows how much love and craft was put into it.
School season was one of the strongest imo. Well, when it comes to the animation quality and the creativity in the slapstick.
This makes me wanna rewatch the show, especially since I never saw the last season. But it's been blammed from Netflix. Can't seem to find it on any other service. What the hell, CN?
CN really needs to get on top of their DVD releases for their older shows. Do they not want my hard earned money?
I wasn't allowed to watch this because my mom said it was too stupid. I did sneak here and there
Still boggles my mind that Kevin is voiced by a female. She was so fucking good.

Voice actors are amazing, I don't understand how they do it. Even the most unknown voice actors can cover such a broad range, it really is an incredible and underappreciated talent imo.

Little boys in shows I've come to expect to be voiced by females. But Kevin sounds like your typical skater/biker boy. That's why I'm so impressed by that in particular.

I wish I was talented like that, it just seems so fun to do. You can tell they're really getting into it and having such a good time while doing so.
and Darkwing Duck.
Actually it was his daughter, jim cummings voiced darkwing.

Wasn't one of the animators for this show get gunned down by Canadian cops?

Show was the fucking bomb and I think Sarah & Jimmy were the first characters that I absolutely hated on a T.V show. I'm pretty sure I've watched all of the episodes in the Cul-de-Sac, but I never finished watching the later seasons in the school.
So wait, did I hear that correctly? The show is Canadian but it didn't air in Canada?
