you really liked that post, didn't you?
it's a serious contender for my best of t-pain collection
instead of shitting up numerous threads with your formal complaints about what you consider indecent posting make a mass debate thread about whether or not forum posts should be allowed to hurt peoples feelings and talk about it there
And I could use posts by supposed "awful posters" as evidence to show how my posts affect others? Not my fault you're a fraud.
Oh stop, how do they owe it to you to not be rude? What sort of obligation do you think you have?
They can be rude if they want, but I'd at least like to see a counter-argument. Unless they're just trolling, then this is a waste of time. I'm here for the discussion, I would at least like to know if this is just trolling, you know?
look i don't know what you are looking to do or trying to do but i'm not really interested in having someone dissect my posts, kopimi isn't interested i'm sure, and this isn't the thread to do that in so please just stop it so i can continue making fempire jokes
Go nuts.
They HAVE a counter argument omg read the thread
They HAVE a counter argument omg read the thread
Half of them are edited away, so I missed those. But the rest I did read.
-snip- [editline].[/editline] I guess that was worded poorly.
Dressing like a slut is not by any means a reason to rape someone. Nothing is obviously. But the Slut Walk sure seems to send a message like "don't treat us like objects, but we're going to dress like objects anyways".
the entire point to the slut walk is to exhibit that there's no excuse for rape, so a lot of participants dress "slutty" to make it a point that just because you're dressed in a revealing or slutty way doesn't mean it's somehow justification of rape. plus "we're going to dress like objects" doesn't even make sense because they're setting out to challenge that objectification, the only reason it would be "we're dressing like objects" is because you see them wearing those clothes and objectify them if that makes any sense [editline]29th October 2012[/editline] when the word "object" and variants of it are used in a post too many times i get legitimately confused so sorry if that post sucked

I say if you don't want to be objectified then don't dress in an over provocative manner.
This was actually a slut walk(a walk in support of rape victims). basically he showed his penis to a bunch of rape victims. you know victimizing them again. but haha we sure showed those feminazis whos boss!!
Hurrdurr exposing yourself is just like the absolute horror and trauma caused by rape

Oh god. They're like those fire-ants that chase after beetles.
It's not a feminist rally. I read about this yesterday; it was a rally for survivors of rape, both male and female. Then this douchebag comes along and pulls his dick out in front of hundreds of people, many of them no doubt underaged. I see absolutely nothing wrong with the crowd being angry at him, considering.
This was actually a slut walk(a walk in support of rape victims). basically he showed his penis to a bunch of rape victims. you know victimizing them again. but haha we sure showed those feminazis whos boss!!
How is showing a penis victimizing them again. Does that mean whenever they have sex with their husband they end having a trauma flashback and break down crying in the bedroom?
How is showing a penis victimizing them again. Does that mean whenever they have sex with their husband they end having a trauma flashback and break down crying in the bedroom?
yes because consensual sex with your husband is JUST LIKE seeing a stranger expose himself in public

This is an opinion anyways. I frown upon overly sexualized attire. I just think to myself "if I had a daughter, would I let her wear that?". Because showing off your thong or having a skirt that shows your underwear every time you bend you knees isn't the way to go about building a positive image for yourself. What bugs me is it's a natural reaction to become aroused when seeing someone dress like that. The brain is designed that way. So when they dress overly revealing, the brain tends to naturally gravitate towards sexual thoughts. Now a girl dresses that way and then expects a guy to not think sexually about her is ridiculous. It's just contradictory to what occurs naturally.
I'm going to give you a tip, Kopimi. Being an asshole to somebody calling you out for being an asshole isn't exactly the greatest defense. The reason nobody likes you here is because you're a piece of shit. Fuck off or improve.
why do the funniest facepunchers get banned

What's with it being called a slut walk btw? I'm sure the LGBT community would never think of calling a gay pride parade a faggot walk
it's called a slut walk in an attempt to take back the term and ideology behind the word "slut" the point is that they walk about in revealing clothing to make the point that nobody is ever "asking for it" and there's no justification for rape no matter what, even if someone is walking around borderline (or literally) nude. whether you think they're a slut or not doesn't matter, they aren't asking for anything. [editline]29th October 2012[/editline] like just read the thread we've been over this

No fucking shit. My first post was worded poorly, I didn't mean to address what they were wearing at the rally. I meant what they wear after the rally, day to day. My following posts have nothing to do with the walk. I'm just stating my opinion about girls dressing in a certain way in a non-rally situation. Do it at the Slut Walk, great, you're making a good statement. Outside of it I'm saying that personally, I disapprove.
ok well thank you for letting us know you're disapproving of skirts and thongs for some reason
Because I didn't explain why in a previous post or anything.
because you don't want your daughter to wear it?
because you don't want your daughter to wear it?
Because it's degrading and has negative connotations associated with it.
Because it's degrading and has negative connotations associated with it.
how is it degrading and the only reason it has negative connotations associated with it is because people like you continue to associate those negative emotions with their clothing choices
My stature among Facepunch has improved much during the past few weeks and months. I can't say the same about you.
lmao this is one of the silliest things ive ever read HEH MY STATURE AMONGST FACEPUNCH HAS IMPROVED...... TIME 2 STRIKE............
how is it degrading and the only reason it has negative connotations associated with it is because people like you continue to associate those negative emotions with their clothing choices
With the theoretical daughter situation, I wouldn't want people thinking she's a slut, easy, gets around, all that kind of thing. And generally, the kind of people that are those things do dress like that, so how exactly are we ever supposed to differentiate the two? It's not like people pull the slut card from thin air, that kind of dress is in fact associated with a certain type of person.
