Except alcohol is a drug that affects people's decision making capabilities.
In some people and enough quantity it can lower someone's inhibitions enough so that they might say yes to something they would say no to if they were lucid.
A car doesn't alter how someone's fundamental decision making works.

But you don't need to be under influence of alcohol "to say yes to something you'd otherwise say no to". And why would the alcohol/drugs have exclusiveness in this? There are other things that can influence your decision making and make you say yes to something you'd otherwise say no to.

Like I said there are many things that can impair your decision making, making you say yes to something you otherwise would say no to. It's not just reserved to substances. The idea that you can't give consent after a beer is pretty bad.
