The horses are better than anything I could have imagined.
Considering it's been the same game since BF3 I'm not really sure this excuse holds any water.
There are incremental improvements in each release. Denying this is just fucking absurd. BF4 revamped the way destruction worked so it actually fucking worked (it did work in the BF3 beta, but people got under the map pretty much instantly as it was super fucked). The class system restructure broke the balance of the game for the longest time. Tweaks here and there to vehicles, new vehicle types, etc.
Sure, it's not a total overhaul every single release. But video games are pretty much a carefully balanced stack of subsystems, minor tweaks to one can have huge ramifications to another.
It's not the "same game" at all. Not being an entirely new game doesn't mean it's the same thing as the last release.
If horses are going to be as broken in the release as they were in beta I hope EA/Dice have the sense enough to just completely disable them until they're fixed
Idk how the fuck do people even compare the game with Battlefront aside from the UI, gorgeous graphics and usual objectively best sounds design.
Literally one game's meta is point and click while the other has a meta that's slightly deeper and more skill based than the previous 3 Battlefield's that's even sometimes compared to BF2 and other classic BFs if that's anything noteworthy. Not to mention the usual Battlefield stuff like vehicles and Michael Bay explosions left and right.
But whatever then, any game that has objectively great sound design and a clean UI is automatically a Battlefront clone.
I compare it to Battlefront because it was extremely watered down and felt like an incomplete game.
There was a lot of stuff in the game that subjugates the need for team work. In older battlefield games, vehicles would need a lot of help from infantry and other vehicles for them not to be killed immediately, and in this you could just hop in a heavy tank, or even a light tank, and just easily rape your way across the map without the aid of anyone on your team. The way they split up the engineer class into assault and tanker is just nonsensical. The fact you can't spawn with a repair tool unless you spawn in a tank is just silly.
Not denying that either game is absolutely downright gorgeous, and the UI is great (when it actually wanted to work in the BF1 beta), but the actual gameplay really isn't great.

This was a BETA RUN man. Half of the players were literally AFK or had never played a battlefield game before and were just dicking around.
How can you take the few rounds you played where you stomped around uncontested and argue the whole game will be like that forever? Especially if you've played past battlefield games..
Been meaning to ask, what is that little hiss inhale sound effect battlefield uses? I think it has been a thing since BF3 (last I've played until the bf1 open beta, which also has it). 3:37 in vid has two, but they're scattered throughout the video as well.
Health has regenerated. I think it either became a thing with BC1 (where the assault could get a HP injector) or maybe 2142? Not sure
Bad company most likely, BF2142 doesn't have any sound indication from full health AFAIK, since it worked like in BF2 where you need a medic to regain health. I remember hearing it for the first time in BC 2, since I have no consoles to play the first one, but I assume it worked the same there.

I hope there's a map with cavalry as the only spawn option

I've still got great memories of rampaging through entire enemy teams back at the start of the Bad Company online when no one knew how to deal with a tank lol
Boy did that change fast.

I can say that because its extremely indicative of how the game will actually turn out. DICE doesn't run betas to figure out balancing, they do it to find bugs and exploits.
I would put money down that Tanks will pretty much rule the battlefield since assaults aren't given adequate anti tank weaponry.
