They all had their own reasons to do things and they all felt very real. It's just weird because so much of what happens in the game with the characters feels very out of left field, like when BJ downs moonshine with Horton and bitches about draft dodgers when so far, nowhere at any point does it seem like he had deeply rooted problems with that. Overall it was an incredibly great ride.[/sp]

I mean you nuke New Orleans and Roswell. Granted they are smaller warheads, with the New Orleans nuke being an artillery shot, and the Roswell nuke was most likely detonated a few miles out seeing as you take a rocket train. However, Super Spesh mentions turning on the tornado sirens so people will evacuate.[/sp]

What would make fighting in Asia (specifically occupied Tokyo) interesting is a dual dynamic. First, the Nazis were well aware that there would be a clash between the “white and yellow races” after their victory. Secondly, it would be interesting to see Bj working with Japanese resistance, considering the last time BJ checked, Japan was an enemy of the US

The game actually has tons of context for this but suffice it to say women of the black power movement in the real 60's sported Afros. Grace would be part of that movement and is based on a real person. To call it a lazy stereotype is to be lazy in your analysis of the situation

America is a melting pot of cultures and nationalities. A diverse and cultured cast would perfectly symbolize what America is all about.

About America being a melting pot, one odd thing I noticed while playing is were are all the black people? I was in New Orleans and I didn't find a single dead black person anywhere(not that I was looking for them its just something I noticed as I progressed, I expected to see loads there). Its like the only free/living black people left are the ones we brought aboard our boat.

i liked that the anti-racism message extended beyond killing nazis in the storyline

I think one interesting thing Wolf2 brings up is the later generation/round of nazi's that were late to the part of the war where people actually get killed the new wave of soldiers that never so much as striked a kill count on their gun, hasn't even fought in any serious battles at all. Hasn't even so much as shot a 'sub-human'. They're fattened by the winnings of their successors and haven't actually done anything. [sp]Just look at Venus, you overhear some talking about how they haven't gotten any kills yet, fantasizing about how great it would have been if BJ was their first kill. Totally virgin to it[/sp]
