They brought back something popular, unlike Call Of Duty which made you pay $15 for new maps that aren't even fun(Just buying it for zombie maps?). It also adds some other things like: Type 88 LMG DAO-12 shotgun Flashette ammo for DAO-12 shotgun Flash suppressor for SKS sniper rifle New awards And did I mention, it is free? I am also pretty sure you can use the BF2 guns outside of the BF2 maps.

Those weapons are already in the game, you just unlock them much later.
