I think "slobber" and "slobbering" was mistranslated, or has a different meaning in a German context. I don't think they were implying they were literally slobbering themselves.
Well at least those people are having fun instead of walking around a convention with video cameras insulting random people.
At least the people at the convention aren't vapid shells of a human existence like the interviewers are.
