"You can climb the property ladder and be a real estate mogul"
i.e You can buy a few houses. Then come back in 6 months and buy EVERYTHING.
Fable II really didn't deliver for everything it promised. I see no reason why this game will be any different besides a few extra gadgets and whistles.
Call of Duty Black Ops or Fable III?
Neither
[sp]Both[/sp]
John Cleese as the butler makes this an instant buy for me.
Both
Usually when people say this or that, they only mean one of those things.
It's like someone asking if they should get an Xbox 360 or PS3, they obviously can't get both if they said OR.

Get Fable 3. It will last you long enough to get enough money to buy Blackops, though I have no idea why you'd want Blackops.
Also, the butler is awesome.
So glad I have the Limited edition preordered. I think I'm the only one who didn't cry rivers because Fable 2 didn't deliver. I already could feel it was rushed and didn't mind, now I see that everything is fixed here FUCK YEAH!

Is the LE only available for the xbox?
helps appeal to people who want customization
what customization
why would I ever want to even be in a house
what, do i want to impress my virtual neighbors?
I thought the point of fantasy games was to have fantastic adventures, not play real estate mogul.

There are really only two ways to interpret it. It's either for immersion or free money. Take your pick.

What, immersion?
So when you retreat into your magical lair of many things with your John Cleese butler and magical real estate map you're interested in being immersed?
Fable 2 was ok at best, mostly because Peter Molyneux put way too much hype in it. For Fable 3, he needs to shut the fuck up and SHOW us the features in the game, which he seems to be doing.
Pretty cool. Never got into Fable games.

The immersion which you apparently don't understand.
Molyneaux really shouldn't make it so easy to make money via real estate this time.
But I'd rather see him make some moral choices which weren't so black/white. Seriously, it's pretty much down to either eating a baby or slaughtering a demonic cult in terms of how obvious which choice is the good/bad one.

I was just saying that they are both good.
Black Ops' appeal will probably wear off quicker than Fable 3 because RPGs are typically longer.

If you don't want to customize your house then don't. The option is there for those that do.
Do the objects really affect the house or are they just there as ornaments?
I am guessing since in fable 2 if you change clothes it shows if your more sexual, evil, good or something its the same thing when it comes to houses in Fable 3
Could someone give a short summary of this game, or it's predecessors?
I remember hearing about Fable 1 a long time ago, and I thought it was a generic hack and slasher set in fantasy times. But I saw Fable 2, and this, and I'm still guessing.
Is it a really open world kind of RPG?
Imagine dragon age origins turned casual-ish
While I really have high hopes for this game, Fable II disappointed me too much.
there goes the rest of the game

Seriously there has never been a Fable game without there having to be an expansion pack like Fable The Lost Chapters.
[editline]04:35PM[/editline]
Correct me if I'm wrong I think Fable II didn't have one.

I'm not sure if it had somesort of Expasion pack but it did have a few(?) DLC's

Not talking about DLCs because those aren't needed to fill plot holes and such.
I'd rather have black and white 3 than fable 3.

One game having an expansion pack does not constitute as always having an expansion pack.
The Lost Chapters was awesome.
Looks pretty lackluster. Probably just going to end up having 99999999999 gold by the halfway point it won't even matter.

You must be talking about Fable I because he didn't actually talk about or show anything from Fable II he wasn't sure was going to be in. And sure enough, all of it is in. After the hype failure of the first Fable he resolved not to repeat it and made a public apology on the LH forums.

you are a king/queen in fable 3 of course your going to have tons of money
I'm interested however Molyneux needs to shuddup.
He's been just wrong so many times I take everything that comes out of that dev with mountains of salt.
