Also, OPs video, 27 seconds in look at the guy on the left sights. Lol he's going for that super long distance kill apparently.
What the fuck is up with those sights?!
What the fuck is up with those sights?!
lol they're set for like 1.5km
Facts you probably didn’t know about Beslan: Male terrorists would bring young girls to a room where they would repeatedly rape them day and night while forcing the hostages to hear their screams.
Facts you probably didn't know about Beslan: A terrorist repeatedly stabbed an 11 month old baby in the face before beheading him.

Those terrorists fucking triggered the bombs and killed those people, how to blame the police/army for this!?
I have never heard about the first two thing you said and the actual assault on the school was a clusterfuck.
You had a mixture of armed civilians, police men, conscripts and other military roaming around together in a very delicate situation. Once the shooting started no one knew what the fuck was going on, I believe I read on Wikipedia that some police officers where actually shooting in the wrong direction.
To top it off you have heavy weapons being fired at the school while hostages are still inside.
Was there ever even an instance where this sort of strong arm terrorism worked? It just seems like it'd always end up with all the terrorists being killed and the populous' hate for them and their cause solidified.
Fuck muslims. And they wonder why nobody likes them.
good thing ignorance isn't contagious, 'cus you got an abundance of it
Fuck muslims. And they wonder why nobody likes them.
Its sad because on almost every video about beslan, all the comments are basically the exact same as this.

"Soldier! Where are you shooting, the terrorists are over there!"
"Well I don know, people were shooting so I shoot too lol"
I dont get why Spetsnaz didnt use a sudden explosion to gain entry.
Thats what all the western CT units do. :v:

That rescue must be the definition of clusterfuck.
I knew this wasn't going to end well when I heard "Russia" and "Hostage Situation"
I've never heard of this. Why haven't I heard of this.
This is sad.
Sniper posted outside the building watched a small child as he was pushed/shoved out a window and to relative safety from the burning gym after the bomb was detonated and the shoot out began. The child decided it would rather climb back into the building for some reason, perhaps it's mother or father was inside, brother or sister or who knows, maybe he was just scared. The Sniper asked permission to shoot him in the leg to keep him from climbing back into the building but he never got the go ahead and the child perished in the flames or something like that.
Edit:
Looks like I have to revise that a bit. I saw a documentary awhile ago and I heard that story. It turns out though that the documentary posted on the first page with six parts to it mentions that child and they survived, but the part about the sniper wanting to wound them to keep them from going back into the building was true, and they did go back into the flames but apparently they survived.
WHY
this is horrible and somehow I've never heard of it until now
They didnt really show how fucked up the actual rescue attempt was. If I remember correctly they actually had a tank firing into the school while hostages where still inside.
That's incorrect. After the third day when Special Forces stormed and secured the school about 13 of the terrorist escaped and held out in a home not far from the school. Since there were only terrorists inside they used a couple of tanks to destroy them outright.

WHY

As it is they're going to die or face life in prison regardless how it turned out. Usually in hostage situations it's pretty common to see that happen and there were women of all ages for them to take their pick and it was a form of psychological torment for the rest of the hostages.
"Try to run and we'll rape you brutally." would probably be a pretty good incentive for the female hostages not to attempt escape. I'd imagine the rapes were quite violent as well, I wouldn't be surprised if they resulted in death or serious, life altering injury too. I try not to think about it, and luckily not a lot of people write or talk about it.

"As the head of the republican commission and as a person who was at the site of the tragedy, I continue to say that tanks began to shoot long before hostages left the building."
That was taken from the Kesayev Report, it also says in the first report that was done that tanks fired on the school before hostages where evacuated. The Torshin Report, which was the last, was done by government officials, which basically contradicted the first two and placed all the blame on the terrorist. I believe several people who where involved in the actual commission that did the report said it was a cover up.
I'm not sure what to believe anymore. Everything was so chaotic and conflicting that it's different everywhere you look.
I'm not sure what to believe anymore. Everything was so chaotic and conflicting that it's different everywhere you look.
What you should believe is that few muslims that in no way represents the religion got mad and a bunch of kids died and civilians got hold of weapons and got themselves killed while the military was just trying to be useful in whatever way.
The reason that you should believe THIS above anything else is because no matter who you ask, they'll tell you that these things did occur.
It's called sticking with the facts and if more people practiced that, the world would be a wonderful place where everyone would have a personal rainbow.
I see where you're coming from but I don't think you should ever start off a conversation with "This is what you should believe"
I know the motives behind the attack, not many people dispute them. The part that's confusing is exactly what happened during the siege like what triggered the first explosion on the third day that started the gun fight or why the military allegedly used tanks on a school filled with hostages. Because it's different for every witness you ask, it's just chaotic and we'll never know for sure.
Same thing happened during 9/11 but unlike 9/11 we don't have everyone and their mother jumping to CONSPIRACY conclusions that don't make any sense.
shit, imagine watching your science teacher get executed right infront of you...
All of you forgotten about the earlier 2002 Moscow school Siege? The russians pumped in the room full of gas, making them sleep, then killed them. But they didn't told the doctors what it was and many died in hospital.
Fucking chechen "freedom fighters". Only dirtbags would take over a bloody school full of children.
FYI theres another very good documentary about this sickening terrorist attack, mostly from the point of view of the children involved.

You can tell how much their lives were affected.
I highly recommend for you to watch all six parts.
Watched the first part, going to for sure watch the rest tomorrow.

Yeah and 90% of them are rednecks or not educated in the field they claim to be experts of... so.

No, but why do we have to mention it here? I mean yeah, the Russians have always been piss poor at handling hostage situations but they've been piss poor at is for the last 100 years.

Lots of people died that day because of what? Religious bullshit... Once again.

Kinda. They also wanted the Russians to withdraw all their forces from Chechnya and recognize their right to exist as an independent state and so on.

In all fairness I'm pretty sure there are a large proportion of Chechen's who don't want to live under Sharia law. Everyone was mortified by the incident, even Chechen moderates.
