Going back from 3 to 2 to release a DLC. Only RWS. I love it.

The gunplay is just really clunky.
I hope there's a giant gary coleman boss or tons of him in this dlc/expansion.

I think the graphics are nice in Postal 2, they still look nice, in the same way that N64 games and Half-Life 1 looks good.

That, and the blood physics are miles above any other game I can think of really.

(still very outdated as hell but still) it just shows how lazy many devs are today when a game that wasn't "Groundbreaking" in any way and got its fame from controversy has [B]better physics[/B] in 2003 than games today. (at least in regards to piss and gasoline and blood) it's not even true physics, its simple stuff but its better than blood decals by soooo much.

Not really[/QUOTE] I'm not talking about advanced rendering features, higher polycounts or resolutions. You can do a lot more within the limitations of the engine. Some models just make my eyes bleed, you can do so much more with the same amount of triangles. And some animations are really REALLY bad. I'm not even talking about the character models, they make up much of the appeal, some things just HAVE to look cheap for the trash factor, but here and there a few details really overstep the border of what's acceptable. Not even major things, just stuff that makes my eyes sore after the 20th playthrough and that keep getting more annoying the more often I have to look at them. The curde sausage finger hands, the shotgun that cycles horribly, the sniper rifle... If I had just picked up postal, it wouldn't bother me, but if you play the game for 11 years and it still gets support, it kinda makes you wish for a weapons pack, more items or some new mechanics, like the AWP mod added, to keep replays a little fresh

In relation to graphics, I'm glad they're just using the same old engine. I'd rather they spent time making a good game than a pretty one.
the gunplay in postal 2 might not be great but it doesn't matter to me since all i use is hedge clippers
