So am I the only one who had no issues with Morrowinds combat? I mean it's clunky for sure. But it's better than the combat in the later games where you can pick up any weapon and be a fucking master at it right away.
It's like any old school RPG combat, you're gonna miss a bunch for a while, but once you level up everything is good.
That voice acting sounds amazing. Oh my, the moment this comes out I'll be playing it for days.
tbh Elder Scrolls combat sucks.
I mean, I love the series, but the combat is by far the worst aspect. There`s little skill, just swing and block.

Or like how once you're a full mage and have master level spells you can shit on anything
Ice, lightning
Ice, lightning
fire breath
dual Fireball
ROOM CLEAR
Why oh god why would anyone want that.
Even the most hard-ass fans of morrowind agree that the combat is garbage and that you have to be really careful about what you're doing and sometimes have to exploit the game to get past the shitty combat.
The combat system in Morrowind blows Oblivion and Skyrim's out of the water IMO and I've played an assload of all the games in the series sans Arena and Daggerfall
The combat mechanics on the otherhand, are really dated. I don't really mind at all though considering the game was from 2002 and I'm used to playing RPG's with stuff like diceroll mechanics so it just makes sense for me. Its really not a problem as long as you have an ounce of imagination and don't build a really awful character at the start.
This looks great but I have a few issues. Chiefly, they seem to be taking a few artistic liberties too far. Dagoth Ur's defining feature is his huge golden mask, so why was his model unmasked?
I actually don't mind the text based conversations. Though I do wish it had less repetition. Like everyone answers all the little questions in the exact same way. Would have been nice to see variety.
Look up the Less Generic NPCs Project mod for Morrowind, if you ever give it another go. It seeks to give every person in Morrowind interesting, individual dialogue and personalities.
