Not alot of time left, but it's fucking hilarious to see the Metroid Prime speedrun as the developer comments on how challenging each level is supposed to be

I haven't watched more than the first half an hour of the Prime run since I wasn't really enjoying it, but the chat was losing its mind over the dev being mostly ignored by the speedrunners, the fact that no questions being asked to the dev, and the Asian guy not shutting up. Are they still doing that?

Whenever a direct question is asked, he's usually like "Idk, we had a lot of people working on this"

I've been waiting for the Super Metorid race since the beginning. Should be really hype!

It was handled a lot better than the dev commentary on surgeon simulator though. The dev still got some times to give some interesting insights, such as how he was the one who created the maze as inspired from something he designed in his younger years, and how he was personally invested in AGDQ since one of the devs he worked with on the game passed away from cancer. I think it was both interesting and a bit surprising to see a dev from retro, since I usually wouldn't expect many non-indie developers joining in on these events like this. I also felt he was still treated with great respect from all the streamers.

I went out at the start of the Super Metroid run and got home five minutes after it ended. And now I'm waiting for the Zero Mission run to be over because it's boring. Great.
